ARGH, #1 has got my BRAIN now. That would make so much sense - it would explain why it would seem as though you couldn't reverse the brainwashing, because you'd be trying to take bits out of the SECOND personality, which is complete in its own right, so it wouldn't work... and this way I could write Omega Supreme/Constructions and have it not be horrendously painful...
