I highly doubt that Ratchet's response on thirty-three would be good - who really wants to know that one of their close friend's true personality has been repressed and the person they've known is just a lie? I actually have a similar theory with Prowl and Jazz - what if Prowl's battle computer was a seperate personality, and controlled Prowl's (*coughbarricadecough*) body while repressing the true personality? And, because I just can't make myself see them with anyone else, Jazz has to learn to deal with this?
Yeah, Ratchet would go on the warpath. Though I wonder if he'd try to undo what was done to Perceptor, or decide to keep the friend he knows. And I do believe there is a bunny where Prowl's battle computer was a different personality. I can't remember if it was one of mine or someone else's.

I did mean with himself, but setting Perceptor up someone else would be just as good.
And moving on, no, we don't hate Perceptor. It's actually a very common sign of love in the fanfiction community - torturing your favorite characters. *coughs* Right. It's like digging holes in the hot desert sun, builds character!
I vaguely recall seeing an essay somewhere about why fans liked hurting their favorite characters. But it's been so long... I might have imagined it.
And finally: Starscream: "But why'd we take Shockwave, then?" Megatron: "Shockwave's twisted, but not dangerous unless provoked. Those two - I swear they don't even realize exactly how dangerous it is to be around them." Starscream: "Ah well, doesn't matter now. They beat the Autobots for us - can we just go home now?"
They really don't realize do they?
Perceptor: *looks around at all the death and destruction surrounding him and Wheeljack* "What just happened?" *is confused* Wheeljack: *is also confused* "Maybe the Decepticons built a new weapon?" *shrugs* "Anyways, do you know where that nuclear reactor I was building went?" Perceptor: "I think it's over by the fusion generator I was modifying." *thinks* "I wonder what would happen if we combined the two." Wheeljack: "Now there's an idea!" *is excited*
Megatron: *watches all this in horror* "As long as those two cannot find a way to follow us... yes, we can go home now." Starscream: *nods and nervously begins backing away*
And I don't know if Ratchet gets hazard pay. I still intend to write the bunny about Perce getting hazard pay for working in the same lab as 'Jack, but I just can't work out how they get hazard pay when they don't even get regular pay.
With extra supplies? Or maybe more freedom to invent whatever he wants with less supervision?
Ratchet: *panicks* "No! Perceptor does not need less supervision! He needs more! More, I tell you!" *shakes Optimus* ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!?!?!"
