I should really be sleeping...Prowl vs the unsolvable riddle

Prowl and whatever human you use. Sam/Spike/Sari/OC/Etc. (Though a young Anabelle would be funny.)

Every question has an answer. It's all a matter of finding out the correct one.
So what came first?
The Chicken...or the Egg?

Reptiles.

Reptiles lay eggs, and reptiles came before chickens. THEREFORE, the egg came first. <3

Wouldn't it just be a reptile then? If two different species mated together to create offspring then they would have created a new species. The offspring had to be born first and had to be significantly different from both species to be considered a new species of it's own. Then THAT generation would lay the first eggs.

(Unless we go the religious route and say that god created all living animals blah blah [this explination doesn't count])

Personally, I think that Chickens are just evolved dodo birds.

Birds evolved from reptiles, and it was a situation evolution, not crossbreeding. The egg still came first, as the first chicken as we know it would have had to hatch from that. <3

Dodo birds were just fail chickens. XD

Archive bingeing is weird, as it makes me come up with random thoughts about the chicken or the egg debate.

Unless one qualifies a chicken egg as having been laid by a chicken, instead of containing a chicken. In that case, the chicken came first.
