Awww! So cute! Let's see... he'd be green and blue with a white star... he'd like animals... name... name... What would his name be?

Peek-A-Boo! Or Hide-And-Seek! No, seriously though, I think Illusion would be a good one. Because, no matter what you say, Mirage really just uses a very specialized form of hologram. He creates a hologram that mimics his surroundings, Hound creates a hologram that adds something into the surroundings, so their sparkling would probably be able to do both.

The Wreckers and Perceptor (because he's a Wrecker whether he admits it or not)! And the look on everyone's faces when they realize that Red Alert's not panicking over the intruders! And that he'd actually asked them to break in!

I know this hasn't yet been made clear (I'm working on it!) in my fics, but I consider Perceptor, Red Alert, and Inferno as 'part-time-Wreckers'. As in, when they need some extra help, or one of their members is forced to stay behind, one of those three normally joins the Wreckers. Red Alert and Perceptor are more useful off the battlefield, which is why their only part-timers. Inferno used to be a full-time members, but then he met Red (through the wreckers, of course) and made the decision to stay with him. ...Right, I'm done now.

How would becoming Prime affect a member of a Gestalt? They have a mental connection with other members? And the physical changes... would they still be able to combine? And if they can't combine, how will that affect the Gestalt as a whole?

And is Hot Spot the only one that's technically 'Prime'? Or is it the entire gestalt, since on some level, they're one being (Defensor, in this case)? The questions, the possibilities... I really hope someone does this.

So... was Mirage a victim of this practice? I suppose everyone was until they grew up.

Yes, he was. I don't think everyone is - just the 'extras'. Because the creators would only need one sparkling, most likely the first born, to carry on their family. I'm hoping that, should anyone pick this up, they'll really go all out on it. 'Cause the elites would see him as replaceable - not a person, just a possession.

A very good reason for him wanting to return to Cybertron. But if he can't handle energon not made on Cybertron, why was he on the Ark to begin with? Or did they not realize Earth-made energon would be of such low quality?

I'm sorry - I wasn't as clear with this as I meant to be. It's not just earth-made energon, it's most energon actually. Hmm, like... Like, Mirage needs fine wine whereas most mechs need water/juice. Mirage can drink water/juice, but it's bad for his health. For those who need water/juice, drinking sodas is bad for their health, but they can still do it. *thinks* Of course, if Mirage were to try to drink sodas, it might cause some serious damage - could even run the risk of offlining him. That make sense?

It didn't matter that he was leaving Cybertron because, even on his home planet, the type of energon he was built to run off of just doesn't exist anymore. Well, maybe Megatron's keeping some stored somewhere - ya never know with a glitch like him. I can see a lot of people feeling guilty when they realize that it wasn't anti-socialness that made Mirage unwilling to get roaring drunk with them - just a desire to avoid the pain that would come along with it.

Right, now that I've replied to this, I'm going to go back to commenting on your post... Thought this wouldn't take as long.
