(Counter)Punch is one of my favorite characters. The separate identities thing came from reading this thing (I'm pretty sure it was official) where sometimes Punch has blackouts, wakes up, and someone's dead. It is very interesting ^_^. And I hope someone adopts this one, too. Very much.

I sort of thought of it as the Dinobots thinking of Perceptor as Wheeljack and Ratchet's sparkling for some reason. Like they see Wheeljack trying to get him to go recharge and they remember something they saw on TV that made little humans recharge. Perceptor's little. They're big. It makes complete sense! I like your ideas, though. They're cuter.

You're idea sounds cute too. The Dinobots can be surprisingly sweet sometimes. And Ratchet's and Wheeljack's reaction when they learn the Dinobots think Perceptor is their sparkling. *thinks* Perceptor as the Dinobots' brother! And since Perceptor wasn't on the Ark when the Dinobots were built, he must be the 'younger' brother!

I think Ratchet and Wheeljack would be mortified and confused but I think Perceptor would find it rather sweet (if a bit embarrassing).

Maybe the Transformers themselves unknowingly integrated the Quintessions into their dream reality because their actual bodies spend so much time around them? I think that, maybe, as their sentience developed the Transformers subconsciously influenced the dream reality. The Quintessions probably had no say in the matter.

Makes sense. I wonder how the Quintessons would react to that.
