As far as I know no-ones really gone into depth on the Decepticon side during the early days. So I felt there was a whole lot of potential. And from what I knew it did start out as a cause against a sort of lack-lustre government. And yes I can see some hot off the press 'con saying that with sincerity. When the state of politics is in rot you start to believe in a 'better' ideal because anything would appear improved upon a stagnant pool of nowhere.
