Of sparks and resurrections

There are different ways of discribing a sparkbond in fannon, but one of the most popular I've seen is that those who sparkbond merge and become two halves of the same spark, literally.   This is also why fannon usually has it where if one sparkmate dies, so does the other.

There have also been a lot of resurrection fics lately, which got me to thinking.  If one sparkmate dying equals the other mate dying, being as they share the same spark now, would not resurrecting one sparkmate result in the other mech coming back to life as well?

This bunny could be applied to any OTP, but I'm using Prowl and Jazz here.

Jazz gets killed by Megatron.  Jazz gets resurrected by either the Allspark, the Matrix, or what have you. This would mean that Prowl would not only have died where ever he happened to be at the moment of Jazz's death, but also would come back to life at the same time as Jazz.

This of course could lead to all sorts of chaos for any bot stationed with Prowl as non of them would have a clue as to what had just happened.  ^^;

Great! Now I'm thinking G1:

When Prowl died, Jazz didn't know why he also didn't go. What he doesn't know is Prowl's presence is nearby and hasn't crossed over. I'm just wondering if Prowl is haunting Jazz, or if Prowl is even aware of what's going on.
