Like that baby from MIB? That was a cute baby. Maybe... something a bit more human looking? Or at least human shaped.
Human + Tentacles? Or you could go the shapshifter route, and have no true form at all.
... Why am I suddenly seeing the words 3rd Rock from the Sun?
*Googles* *goggles*...Definately not. (even if it is funny.)
Or maybe they hack into Ratchet's computers to make sure the medic can't detect anything odd.
They'd need to hack into more then Ratchet's computer if they don't want him to notice anything strange.
