The bunnies are being evil today. School essays are not suppose to turn into plot summeries *glares at rabbits*
1. Swearing to God and Primus in the same breath.
2. Jet’s feet are not meant for walking. Thundercracker wants to run.
3. [Iacon’s] cemeteries now have a far greater population than the town, including one on the hilltop that has smoke rising around and out of it.-Wikipedia, Mine Fire
Name of town changed to fit transformers, but the quote's otherwise unaltered.
4. He joined the decepticons because there’s only so long you can spend trying to convince the Autobot Regime you’re not actually deactivated. (inspired by this man.)
5.[g1] It’s not that the other is careless and rude and occasionally cruel. It’s not that, Perceptor knows, because Brawn is all of those things and they get along passably well. It’s because Brawn has never hurt him. If he is a jerk, a pest or a bully- well, Perceptor was not expecting anything better. He does not depend on Brawn. And when Brawn suddenly does something that for a moment is insightful, or respectful, or kind, Perceptor is pleasantly surprised. But when he depended upon the other the most, he turned his back on him. Brawn has a blank slate. Perceptor knows nothing of him, expects nothing of him. But of the other, he knows only betrayal. (Inspired/madlibbed from a Fruits Basket drabble)
6. Placing his hand against the wall, he shoved forward and twisted, ripping a hole in suddenly superheated metal.
7. Blaster:*humming*Remember, remember, the fifth of November…
?: Will you please. Stop. Humming that? *Twitch*
8. It always startled Optimus, each time he was reminded, just how strong their fragile allies were.
9. You never could tell, if the vidscreen was off, whether the other was actually listening or if he’d wandered off to look at something shiny.
10. [g1] Skywarp’s warp generator is unique. He knows this, because his mad-genius-of-an-autobot best friend built for him before the war to guarantee he actually got to appointments on time.
11. [g1] Arcee/Carly fem(me)slash (Because I have a page of it in my physical journal, and sudden appreciation for the pairing)
12. In the image capture, an orange mech, identical in form to his brothers, grinned from over Sunstreaker’s shoulder, blue optics bright, one arm thrown around Sideswipe’s waist.
13. Two characters switched names with each other some time in the past.
14. The war is over. The Autobots are disbanded. But Prowl still has his ‘honorary’ position of police officer, and certain troublemakers no longer have their status as soldiers to weasel out of traffic tickets and vandalism complaints…
15. He began to realize they weren’t doing a very good job of hiding it when the average teenage boy started commenting on the sexual tension between the two. (Inspired by an actual conversation I had about Starscream and Optimus with three boys in my history class)
16. Admiral Miles Naismith, meet the autobots. They’d like to know how you recruited half their army into the Dendarii free mercenary fleet. (Vorkosigan Crossover. Any man who can turn a 4 man crew, one outdated ship, and a bald-faced lie into an actual mercenary army in four months should not be let near Cybertron.)
17.As part of the Wizard Wars — the back-and-forth competition of radar, radio and other largely top-secret gadgets, the German air force developed a nighttime navigation system based on crisscrossing radio beams. A pilot would fly along one beam (using sound in his earphones to know he was on course). When he crossed another beam, over his target, the sound would change and he would drop his bombs. The British warped the beams and caused the Germans to heavily bomb empty patches of British countryside. Later, the British tried the same method themselves, but started by deliberately leaking it to the Germans. The Germans jammed the beams (which were not being used) for six months, concluded it wasn't working, and gave up. Then the British started using the beams, successfully. –Tvtropes, I Am Not Making This Up
Blaster and Soundwave scare the frag out any soldier with brains.
18. Red Alert and Inferno show up in the second season of the cartoon. So…where were they, before that, and who did Red replace when he came to Earth?
19. ...Not that the man was a prisoner, except by dull, humdrum standards. He appeared rather grateful to be confined in this light, airy attic with as much wood, paper, sticks of charcoal and paint as he desired and no rent or food bills to pay. –Jingo
It took Perceptor, in retrospect, an embarrassingly long time to realize he was being held captive.
20. It’s the world’s oldest form of entertainment. We come pre-installed with all kinds of hormones and squishy bits. Maybe this will be improved upon when Human 2.0 is released, but this is what we have so far.- Maureen Johnson
Sarcasm and Sex-ed should not be mixed with easily traumatized giant robots.
21. Starscream's nullrays are purposefully nonfatal. They were the last thing he had installed before he was inserted as a sleeper agent into the Decepticon army.
22. ?: Holding yourself to higher standards then the rest of us is just as hypocritical as the reverse, Prime.
23. A small fraction of the population have naturally ‘resistant’ sparks. They, unlike the rest of the population, don’t die or, in fact, suffer any side effects at all from a broken bond (beyond what an unbonded mech would feel if his partner died, of course). Someone found out that they’re part of this small population when they killed their thoroughly unwanted bondmate.
24. Bluestreak has a small, thoroughly unremarkable datapad hidden in his quarters. On that small, thoroughly unremarkable datapad is a list of names and locations. Bluestreak has this because, despite all appearances to the contrary, he’s a vengeful little glitch.
25. When he first met Perceptor, the microscope had been hopped up on some dubiously legal stimulant.
26. ?: In my experience, Wheeljack will take about two hours to truly warp the laws of nature.
?2: I thought you weren’t convinced?
?: I’m getting there. (GG quote)
27. It is easier to forgive our enemies’ barbs then our friends’ silence.
28. Art is an act of creative destruction.-proverb
Unicron has a soft spot for artists.
29. [2007]You could always spot a neutral, no matter whose company they were in. Neutrals were the only ones who believed in blending the autobot and decepticon designs together. (Ie. Red optics with smooth facial plating, blue optics with spikes, dark metal with autobot style frames, light metal with decepticon ones, sharp protrusions paired with slimmer, more functional builds, mixing the curved, disconnected decepticon armor with the flatter autobot style…)
30. Note drawn from a Decepticon report: An ‘Air Force unit’, while made up of organics, has sufficient tactile ability to ambush Skywarp. Fortunately, they failed to deal any damage, but it would be unwise to expect that again, considering the nature of the attack. (Personal note scrawled in margin: How the frag did the squishies get that many fish in Sky’s cockpit anyway?)
31. Just a strange thought, but why is Sari a girl? She was reverse engineered from a very male looking robot (head), by a reclusive loner techie, who doesn’t interact with other guys, let alone the opposite sex. And he decides to make the first A.I. ever created on earth a little girl? And for that matter, does Sari have any siblings? ( A la My Life As A Teenage Robot)
32. Mentioning MLTA, Jenny’s rather similar to Sari, don’t you think? She’d be a cool big sis for Sari now that’s she found out about her place among the robots.
33. Starscream is an idiot, but he’s also an overprotective idiot. An orn after Skyfire defects to the autobots, Ratchet receives a datapad with Sky’s medical records and a rather sharp threat about what will happen if he tell anyone where it came from.
34. [G1/BW]The Insecticons meet Waspinator.
35. [2207] Decepticons aren’t all evil. When the destruction of the youth sectors came around, several Decepticons got creative in order to save the younglings. Even today, whole units of ‘intelligence agents’ or ‘com experts’ are essentially tiny youth sectors, and it’s not unusual for an high-ranking officer to have a strangely young looking ‘second-in-command’. Not to mention whole sections of known space which are suspiciously uniform in their rating of ‘inhospitable to cybertronians’. (I refuse to believe an entire army universally accepted the genocide of their species.)
