One quote-bunny

This just screamed at me today while I was watching "Van Helsing." It could work for... hell, just about any of the scientists of either faction:

?1: "(Whoever), you're a genius!"
?2: "I'm a genius with access to unstable chemicals."

Personally, I'm thinking the second speaker is Wheeljack. It could be anyone, though.

What? I only watch the movie for Carl, because Carl is awesome. I personally call that film "The Carl Show, co-starring Van Helsing and Anna."

It's been forever since I've seen that movie, but yes, that is a very Wheeljack-esque quote. He'd probably say it with a discomforting amount of glee, too.

Something about the way this snippet was phrased makes me think that the second speaker isn't even a scientist. Someone unexpected - Ironhide? Skywarp?
