I don't know if they'd succeed, but they'd certainly try. I think Hook is just as afraid of the reformat failing (who knows what he'd end up as?) as he is of it succeeding.

I have no idea. He's just that good. There are too many stories that he uses trickery to solve major problems in that I can't see this beyond him.
