ext_18500: My non-fandom OC Oraania. She's crazy. (Ultra Magnus 2)

Hmm, now I'm starting to wonder more about personality and other things they could possibly pick up from their parents. And all of the crack pairing you can make to get a certain sparkling as a result, or for the older TFs, what their parents were like. Then there's the whole what if thing about Primus getting in on the act. What would his children be like?

Yes, well there's both spark personality and also how processors affect that. As a recent quote-bunny said, Cybertronians aren't a robot that happens to have a spark, they are a spark that has a robot body, and stuff like processors, logic circuits and programming just aid the spark in how it lives and works within that body.

Then there's sparkling-raised Cybertronians. I also recently came to an idea about this: if sparklings can be created sexually (as in, spark-sex), then they would start out tiny and wouldn't cope being put straight into a full-sized body, hence why they would need to be placed in a small body first and upgraded as their spark got bigger. Doing this, they would also learn slowly so all the nature vs. nurture stuff would apply, with natural spark genetics (i.e. the energy patterns and associated personality traits they inherit from their parent sparks) being influenced by how the sparkling is raised.

As for Primus... well this my personal view, and somewhat based on my own cosmology, but I don't see it conflicting much with any canon cosmology either, but Primus is seen as a god, so he must be a significantly larger entity than any Cybertronian. To go back to what I just said about sparkling sparks having to grow to a size that can cope with a larger body, well to cope with a body that is big enough to fold into a planet, Primus has a spark that is huge. Something that big could have such a huge range of pattern variation across it's whole structure that Cybertronians - whose sparks originate from Primus - only ever have tiny bits of those patterns and because their sparks can come from widely separate areas of Primus's own spark, it means the race has plenty of personality variations. Add the recombinations caused by sexual reproduction, then that means a lot of personality differences.

I recall a line in Good Omens about the intelligence of angels - it's not so much that they have intellects that are higher than humans but that they have intellects that are broader. Something like that applies to Primus.

That's why I keep a very extensive list of the bunnies I not only adopt, but the ones I find interesting and may one day expand on later, all under the posters name.

The nearest I have done to that is that I will write in links if I write up an idea on my own journal or on my personal muse-comm. I know my cosmology write-up has a few links added at the bottom due to them catching my eye (and that of my Magnus and Primus muses). I also recently looked again at the post on my journal where I put a ficbit I wrote on the spur of the moment for a plotbunny posted on this comm (the plunny was "Primus. Do Not Duplicate." It managed to get my own plunny about Primus quoting Hamlet mentioned in it too).
