Contemplating cassettes
or rather their lovely decks, here are some bunnies!
1. If Soundwave and Blaster are full size tape decks with full size cassettes, who would be a micro cassette player?
a) Cosmos (would explain his alt from...)
b) Bumblebee
c) someone else?
2. What would happen if Blaster or Soundwave became a prime? What would happen to their cassettes?
3. What if Skyfire was actually a deck, perhaps one designed to hold seekers?

*is snickering at the mental image of Blaster’s gang all ragging poor Cosmos by calling him ‘Miniboss’*
And Cos having cassettes/being capable of supporting one has been an idea of mine for a while. I've always thought it looked like he has some sort of chest-hatch too (for gathering samples in space, maybe?).
Wonder what his mini-cassette’s alternate forms would be, though? Some sort of fliers, like Laserbeak or Ratbat? They’d have to be able to keep up with him given his alt mode. Personally I’ve always found it curious that Ramhorn and Steeljaw both have more mobile alt (root?) modes than their host…
c) someone else?
As for someone else...hmm, maybe Reflector? Tape decks have tapes. Cameras...have film canisters. XD And someone posted a bunny about Perceptor having slides (http://community.livejournal.com/tf_bunny_farm/65301.html#cutid1)...

*imagines Eject and Rewind grinning fiendishly and cracking their knuckles while looming over a waist-high Rumble and Frenzy*
*imagines the cassette twins scruffing Cliffjumper and laughing as he squirms, finally getting revenge for all those ‘shrimp-bait’ comments
*pictures Steeljaw casually knocking Ravage over and proceed to wash him like a momma cat with a kitten as everyone stares*
*Ramhorn is delighted with his new ability to bowl over the likes of Motormaster and Blitzwing*
*imagines everyone on the Ark running for the hills whenever Blaster gets in the mood for some tunes, ‘cause now he has the power to blast audios out all the way to Cybertron*
3. What if Skyfire was actually a deck, perhaps one designed to hold seekers?
That might explain all that kibble on his alt mode - it's a specialized docking hatch. :D
