Hi! I'm new - and already plagued by a bunny...
My secret favorite characters of all time are Kup and Hot Rod - I fell in love with them instantly after watching the movie... And now I have this crazy idea, after reading that Rodimus Prime has quite the confidence issues, but I'm unable to write it myself... Because it's dark, should be romance and angst and... Oh, see for yourself! ^-^
It's like this: After Hot Rod is reformatted as Rodimus Prime, according to my knowledge of the comics, many things go wrong and he is suffering from self-confidence issues and such. Kup is the one who doesn't treat him all that much different from when he was just the 'motor revving punk', who gives advice/backup and understands that he got no magical answers to everything, just because he is now Prime.
(All in all, I think that Kup is totally awesome, with all his experience, insights, and grumpy patience/kindness with the younger 'bots).
So, after something goes wrong, many 'bots losing their lives in the process of a wrong decision, perhaps, Rodimus forces a sparkbond on Kup - to have one constant, to have his support, to just... cling to something. Although Kup knows enough about manipulating spark energies (if my infos are correct, he knows metallikato...?), he actually allows it, because Rodimus is at a breaking point...
But how will others react to that? Forcing a sparkbond is a crime... What about Rodimus guilt afterwards? Can they settle, actually, in a kind of relationship despite all their differences and what the other think?
Actually, the problem, which makes me unable to write it myself, is - I don't think/would want the focus to be on the sparkbond (to me, that is the only way the TF have smex, cause I don't like the idea of interfacing being something intimate or that they, reproducing due to the Allspark, acutally have... well,... °-° you sure know what I mean - there's enough sticky out there LOL), but more on the emotional impact, how they deal with it and come together, in the end...
Well, it's your bunny, if you want it, so you can do with it whatever you like, but I prefer more story than smex... I really hope that someone will do this one - it's certainly a challenge, I guess...
