Femme!Megatron appeals to me.

I wonder if the other Decepticons know about it.

Is it /wrong/ for me to admit that I've seen Sunstreaker as being the Cybertronian equivalent of a drag queen?

Ummm... let's be nice and say 'creative'. ^__^

Then again, we are talking about the guy who had brought his teenage son along with him to an oil rig and glad let's Spike go adventuring with his giant robot buddies.

True. That's like, the textbook definition of negligent parenting (or it would be, in certain textbooks).

A big idea behind this bunny was the culture clash and some of the inherent jingoism in America.

*looks up what jingoism is* Ah, yes. I didn't know there was a word for that. It might work the other way too - perhaps the Autobots and Decepticons could be convinced to unite if the humans were a genuine threat to their race.
Maybe Optimus is banking on that and authorizing his scientists to share potentially dangerous technology with human governments? If the Decepticons feared the humans instead of holding them in contempt, they'd prefer making a permanent alliance with the Autobots over humiliation and extinction.

Cue the giant mecha!

*loves* The result of the technology Optimus leaked to the humans! This might result in his strategy backfiring, though: some of the Autobots might object to fighting an enemy which seems so Cybertronian and not at all like a terrifying alien threat. They'd abandon Optimus' plan and try to negotiate with the humans, leaving Optimus practically alone with the 'Cons.
