Procrastinating HW Leads to Ideas!
These bunnies are why I need to start doing my work when I get it instead of at the last minute:
1. Inspired by a fic I read a while back. One of the twins (Sunstreaker or Sideswipe, or if you prefer the 'cons, Rumble or Frenzy) has a speech defect/mental problem/other issue, and his twin helps him hide it.
2. Sunstreaker (or Tracks if you like, though I think Sunny's better for the bunny) is using a large ego to hide his very low self esteem.
3. Movieverse. The reason Ironhide is so gruff is his lover (Chromia...?) was killed the night before they were to bond, back when bonding ceremonies were commonplace.
4. Movieverse. I ALWAYS see Prowl reprogrammed into Barricade, but what if Prowl voluntarily went over to the 'cons? What could the Autobots have done to him that was so terrible he'd want to defect and work against them?
5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQbZRMLKozk To me, the song makes me think of the Hot Rod(imus)/Arcee/Springer love triangle, but what do you all think?
6. Sam "Spike" Witwicky has the ability to jump continuities. (Maybe he's actually a servant of Unicron and the Autobots don't know it?)
7. On that matter, what do you suppose mirror-verse Unicron is like?
8. He was kept hidden as a sparkling. His creators told him that if anyone found out he existed, he'd be taken away, experimented on, and then destroyed.
9. "This isn't happening! It only thinks it's happening!"
10. One of the Decepticons has a secret crush on Carly. (Or Maggie if you like movieverse)
11. This can be any continuity. A group of TFs - Autobot and Decepticon alike - form a KITT (from "Knight Rider" - can be the Trans Am or Mustang version) fan club.
12. "I'm not sure I can trust you."
"I'm not really asking you to trust me, am I?"
13. Not really a bunny; just a weird thought I had. For all of you who are obsessed with trying to find a perfect match for Perceptor, and like trying deities, try "Yaweh". It's a (rough Romanization of) Hebrew word for God. (You could also try the Spanish or French or German or whatever translation) Also, try some lesser-knowns, like... *thinks* Sekmet, or Bastet (also known as just Bast), or something like that.
14. Before the war, the femmes were forbidden to get an education, let alone an Academy education. With the help of _________, Arcee posed as a mech to get educated at Iacon's top school. (Fill in the blank) (Inspired by a few old Chinese stories)
15. Sideswipe introduces Prowl to Mad Libs, thinking they'll make his processor go nuts, but Prowl ends up getting addicted to them.
16. Moonracer, upon joining her friends on Earth, discovers Powerglide's relationship with Astoria and decides to latch onto Perceptor (or whoever you prefer) in return, in an effort to make Powerglide jealous. Perceptor REALLY isn't interested in her, but doesn't have it in him to tell her "no", especially with how pushy she can be.
17. Cliffjumper doesn't really think Mirage is a Decepticon. He just wants Mirage out of the way because he has a mad crush on Hound.
18. Arcee is Opimus and Elita's daughter.
19. A Decepticon is Optimus and Elita's son.
20. Arcee is Megatron's daughter.
21. Dumb crossover idea: Arcee's holoform is Stormer from "Jem". (So who is Craig? And could someone else - Raya, maybe - be a holoform too?)
22. Crossover. Movieverse. Womaniser Tony Stark begins dating a beautiful genius by the name of Maggie Madsen. The Autobots decide to make it very clear that he'll regret it if he ever hurts her.
