1. Unicron/Primus gets bored and decides to make a ‘mortal’ body to interact with the Cybertronians with.
1a. A mech/femme starts wondering if they should file a sexual harassment suit.
2. A non-seeker sparkling whose creators were killed during the war is found and raised by Seekers.
3. Cybertron was reduced to a barren wasteland by the war and the majority of the survivors abandoned it in order to survive. But there are an unlucky few who were left behind, or chose to stay for some reason, and are forced to scavenge from the numerous battlefields to survive.
3a. A group of explorers return to Cybertron centuries later and encounter these stragglers.
4. The Seekers only follow Megatron because he has something to hold over them. (ie: their sparklings)
5. A group of Cybertronians don’t need the AllSpark to reproduce. (ie: Triplechangers / Seekers)

Maybe those without a mobile altmode were left behind, like Blaster and Soundwave. Or maybe those that were considered too dangerous to take, like triplechangers.

*LOVES* *LOVES* *LOVES* And they (the Triplechangers and Seekers) keep this a secret (possibly due to most people seeing that form of reproduction as going against Primus, or something?) so most Autobots and Decepticons truly believe they will go extinct now that the Allspark has been destroyed. However, an injured pregnant!Springer is taken to a non-Triplechanger/Seeker medic and his condition is discovered. Luckily, everyone assumes that it's a new ability, a kind of last minute miracle of the Allspark's. And Springer latches onto the safe explanation.
By the way, for some reason bunny #5 is in tiny text.
