Big cats, Shakespeare, and sparklings, among other things
1) More of a music video bunny, but if you've ever heard the song "The Humans Are Dead" by Flight of the Conchords, I would love to see a video of Decepticon mayhem done to this song, particularly if it is interspersed with bits of Starscream and Megatron discussing the fact.
Live action movie, and cartoon verses seem both equally promising to me.
2) Cassette sparklings, various continuities - This assumes that cassettes are symbionts who require a compatible 'deck' unit like Soundwave or Blaster.
What if someone had a sparkling, only to discover it was a cassette, and that the best thing for the sparkling would be for it to immediately be given into the care of Soundwave or Blaster, who, by virtue of being decks, are better equipped to care for cassettes of all ages, including sparklings?
Much angst could result.
3) Wild cat rescue/rehab - Some wildlife sanctuary receives big cats from the pet trade and tries to set them up in natural environments. Most big cats are happy, but they end up with one who was so accustomed to living its daily life with humans that it falls into depression at the sanctuary. Unfortunately, the animal really is too large and dangerous (maybe it accidentally hurt its previous owners while playing too roughly) to be permitted the regular human interaction it seems to crave.
So, in desperation, the sanctuary calls the one group that they know cannot be hurt by a cross yet needy liger, Siberian tiger, or whatever: the Autobots.
Bonus points for the 'kitty' being adopted by someone other than Hound or Beachcomber.
4) Blaster's cassettes Ramhorn and Steeljaw have personalities based on brain scans of the actual animals they are built to ressemble. Essentially they are what a rhinoceros and a lion would be if given the opportunity to become sentient in robot form.
5) The usual trope in mechpreg fics is two TFs are lovers and one gets knocked up. Well, what if they both were with spark, carrying, budding, expecting or whatever?
Even better, what if it isn't just a pair, but a trine, or even a quartet?
Imagine Megatron and Starscream, each ornery as the Pit with 'nesting' protocols - ROFL!
6) Bayverse/Real Steel crossover - I haven't seen Real Steel yet, but the robots look sexy as hell, and I was just suddenly thinking what if bunches of Cybertronian neutrals came to Earth? What would they do? They would find jobs in different areas of human society, including sports.
Imagine if the Real Steel bots were not human-built, but actual Cybertronians fighting for human entertainment.
7) Shakespearean Transformers - A little something for the lit geeks: how about your favourite Transformers episode or movie scene done in iambic pentameter?

6. There was a fanfic with a similiar plot; it's been a while since I read it, but I believe Bumblebee, Sam, and Mikaela was transported via Plot Device to Real Steel. . .( no idea how to format links on the new lj. . . )

7. Iambic pentameter, there're some words I haven't heard since senior year of high school. . .nearly three years ago, lawlz. I'd read something like that; and write it, too, if I could remember what the heck iambic pentameter was again. . .
(/ is too lazy to look it up at the moment )
