Unusual Prime

I want to see a fic where instead of, or in addition to depending on timeline and personal preference, Optimus or Rodimus becoming Prime, a different character does. I want to read what kind of Prime a character like Red Alert, Fulcrum, Soundwave, Swindle, Cliffjumper, Skywarp, or Waspinator would be! Imagine the chaos!

This prompt can either be filled in a crackish manner, or in a more serious manner (such as writing about the societal changes and/or changes in relationship or psyche of a character.)

Kenya Starflight has a fic entitled, "A Child Shall Lead Them," where Swoop gains the Matrix after Optimus dies and becomes Pterodactalys Prime. The other Autobots are not particularly happy about this. Here's the link if you want to read it:

I totally second this motion. As it is, the only other fic that I can think of is a oneshot where Thunderous Prime is chosen:

Okay, that's a bit of a lie, but the rest don't fit your criteria, and considering just how many stories I've read, that number should be waaay higher.
