School's starting next week... so I may not be posting/commenting as often.

1. Why would Megatron ever ask Optimus for a temporary truce?

 

2. It was the first time that Starscream’s apology was sincere, and the first time that Megatron’s forgiveness was genuine.

 

3. Prowl: *cuts a neat hole in the fourth wall and peers through* I’m not the only one with a logic processor, you know. And have any of you considered that having an easily-breakable logic processor is in fact illogical?

Jazz: *waves and drags Prowl away* No harassing the humans, Prowlie. Better get Hoist and Grapple to take a look at that hole…

 

4. Transformers/1776 crossover. What if the TFs had crashed and awoken in the 13 colonies right before the American Revolution? Or, alternately, the Seekers singing “The Lees of Old Virginia” (Skywarp = Lee, the hyper guy in orange; TC = Ben Franklin, the old guy; Screamer = John Adams)

 

5. Soundwave’s cassettes are lurking in Wheeljack’s lab and get caught in an explosion. The Autobots perform the most vital repairs and follow standard enemy-prisoner procedures, but a compassionate First Aid disobeys orders and gives the cassettes a full repair before they are returned to the ‘Cons. Soundwave is left with an uncomfortable debt.

 

6. A Bot is send to infiltrate the ‘Con base and does not return. ‘Con activity for the next few months is nonexistent. Eventually, the ‘Bots discover that the ‘Cons – and their agent – are trapped in the ‘Con base and slowly starving to death.

 

7. An ancient law dictates that if the Prime fails to fulfill his purpose of holding and protecting Cybertron, as a matter of honor he must be executed or commit suicide before falling into enemy hands.

 

8. During the American Civil War, Abraham Lincoln acted as If he were still president of the entire country – North and South. He would address the rebelling Confederates as people of the United States who had simply gone astray. Optimus learns of this and decides to do the same with the ‘Bots and the ‘Cons.

 

9. Perceptor gets literally lost in thought. He focuses so entirely on a project that he stops responding to the world around him or caring for himself.

 

10. Megatron overhears Starscream defending him or one of his decisions. Starscream didn’t know that Megatron was listening, but he did have an ulterior motive for saying what he did. Megatron doesn’t know this.

 

11. Skyfire gets captured by the ‘Cons, but there aren’t any secure cells big enough to hold him and the Constructicons are all badly injured.

 

12. All the medically-inclined ‘Cons are unable to work due to battle wounds. Thanks to Optimus, Megatron is in need of delicate repairs and reluctantly orders Starscream to fix him. Since Megatron has arranged for the publication of certain juicy bits of blackmail if he should die under Starscream’s care, the Air Commander is dismayed to find that the medical skills he’d learned as a scientist are a little… rusty.

 

13. A worldwide charitable organization trademarks the Decepticon symbol for its use.

 

14. Two individuals are built so that when separate, they possess incredible powers and are practically invincible, but if they grow physically and emotionally close, they become mortal (Like in the movie Hancock).

 

15. Soundwave favors some of the cassettes over the others, because some of them are his creations and some of them are not.

 

16. Astrotrain: the Little Train That Could.

 

17. Sideswipe is just as much of an artist as Sunstreaker. He just practices a different art.

 

18. Several characters have fanon backstories that include time as a gladiator. In some ancient human societies, participants in athletic competitions competed without clothing. What would the alternative be for Cybertronian society?

 

19. Optimus: “What? Me and Elita, bonded? Ew, no! She’s like my sister!”

?????: “…Oh.” *insert reaction of shock/delight here*

 

20. Chromia is Ironhide’s creator.

 

21. When the TFs come back online on Earth, they find that only half of them survived the crash. But that doesn’t mean that the others are gone… (Transformers/Shaman King crossover?)

 

22. The Cassettes aren’t the creations of the tape decks. They’re parasites.

 

23. Jazz tries to program Teletraan for musical purposes and accidentally crashes him/her/it.

 

24. “Beachcomber, what are you talking about?”

“I’m telling you, it was a message from Primus himself! He said that Cybertron is doomed to destruction and Earth is destined to be our new home!”

“’Comber, you haven’t taken any suspicious energon from Perceptor recently, have you?”

 

25. Grimlock: “Spike, who he?”

Spike: “Uhhh… it looks kind of like a… girl… Autobot.”

Grimlock: “But who he?”

Spike: “Well, first of all, girls are ‘she’s or ‘her’s, not ‘he’s or ‘him’s. Like Carly. And as for who she is, I have no idea. I didn’t even know there *were* girl Autobots… You’d think they would have mentioned this…”

Grimlock: “Her Autobot look… pretty…”

Spike: *brain breaks*

 

26. Unicron created Ariel to counter Primus’ creation of Orion Pax. When Ariel became Elita-1, subconscious programming was activated which made her try to stay close to Optimus Prime… in order to assassinate him and take his place as leader, then yield fully to Unicron’s control, becoming nothing more than a puppet.

Shockwave learns of this and informs Megatron. Megatron decides that opposing Optimus is easier than opposing a god of destruction, and orders Shockwave to find and destroy Elita-1 at all costs.

A Constructicon overhears the communication and confers with the others. They realize that if they could reach Elita-1 and tell her about this programming, they might convince her that only their surgical skill could remove it. Then, they could reprogram her as a Decepticon and use her to taunt Optimus. This could possibly turn into Elita-1/Constructicon (or Elita-1/Devastator?).

 

27. Any Insecticon/any femme.

 

28. Motormaster drags his gestalt team to a monster truck rally, bringing Scavenger and possibly some other Constructies to steal/salvage parts. Carly is attending the rally to get away from the Ark and spend some time around big machines that act a little more predictably than her usual companions.

 

29. Wheeljack (possibly inspired by more of those human movies that Prime keeps telling himself he should ban) decides that since he’s such a genius engineer, he should be able to find a way to make himself fly. At the same time, certain gestalt leaders throw out a general plea to the Ark at large to keep certain gestalt members distracted before certain gestalt leaders go insane. Thus, Wheeljack enlists the help of Air Raid and Blades in his experiment.

 

30. Blitzwing, badly wounded, is taken prisoner. Ratchet is very, very upset, because he doesn’t know how to fix certain injuries on triplechangers. Perceptor is torn over whether to assist Ratchet (and reveal his own third alt mode, because Ratchet would be bound to ask how he knows about triplechanger anatomy) for the sake of the mech who once saved his life (which could be either Ratchet or Blitzwing).

 

31. Fanart: Lights! Camera! Action! with Jazz-lights, Reflector-camera, and ???-action.

 

32. Red Alert = Death. Because no door is closed to him.

 

33. The Decepticons finally find out about high-heeled shoes – specifically, which humans wear them – and proceed to tease the Seekers mercilessly.

 

34. “Whoa. When we dropped him from up there, he bounced.”

“Let’s do it again!”

 

35. (Girl Genius-inspired again) Starscream in the Madness Place!

 

36. Optimus and/or Megatron dig through the Autobot and/or Decepticon anonymous ‘suggestion/complaint boxes’.

 

37. Someone discovers a piece of human mythology/history which eerily mirrors its Cybertronian counterpart.
