I've read stories where it is considered taboo by both Autobots and Decepticons to attack a medic in the field if they are currently trying to save a life. But only if they're working on another bot. If they're fighting, then it's a free-for-all. Most of the fics I've read deal with Ratchet in this predicament and everyone else reacting.
I'm not sure if the Decepticons will get that worked up over it, but I *need* to see a story where Knockout is trying to save someone and he's either taken down by blaster fire when someone wasn't watching where they were aiming, or they did it on purpose. Can be another Decepticon or an Autobot that figured they'd never get a better chance to take out the enemy CMO...
Even better if Knockout gets shot/hurt because he saw it coming but chose to protect his patient as best he could instead of moving out of the way as doctors do, maybe his patient is a high-ranking 'Con, IDK... but I'd also like to see him being hurt to the point where Ratchet actually has to go help him because he's the only other medic out there with the skills needed to deal with injuries of that magnitude.
This can take place before or after Breakdown, and to write this plot might make Knockout kinda OOC but I really hope to read anything like this soon!!

Twins and Red Alert. All of them Lamborghinis.
People tend to like writing fics where all the Datsuns are brothers or otherwise related. Maybe the Lamborghinis are too.
But Red Alert doesn't look much like Sides and Sunny. Twins are red-black-yellow while Red is white and red.
White and red... Ratchet is also white and red. And the twins spend a lot of time around him.
...
OMG.
...
And then there's that one episode with that THING between Red and Starscream.
Red Alert.... Starscream... Twins.... Jet Judo?
... Yeah, that would explain it.
Make whatever you want of that.

Princess Ratchet AU

I'd like to see an AU where Ratchet is a princess trapped in a castle and Drift is knight who comes to rescue him- except Ratchet doesn't want to be rescued. He gets to do what he wants in the castle like study and isnt bothered by idiot knights. Food and whatever else he wants is delivered to him by some means. Why would he want to give that up to be a pretty bauble and bear children? He's got better things to do thank you very much!
Cue a very confused Drift who just beat a dragon/went through a bunch of booby traps/whatever you want only to be met with rejection.
Whatever happens next, how he tries to woo Ratchet or whatever I don't care. I'd just like to see grumpyPrincess =w=

Bunny adopter

I've been prowlin' the archive of the TF plot bunny farm with a wagon and picked up a few. I'll link back when I start the fic but trying to find the bunny in the maze of bunnies and commenting on when I update is kind of hard. I think I'll just post a list of them on my LJ account and update there when I post a new chapter. I normally update them daily.
( I've brought my own baby bunnies )

If someone knows of a fic that fits the criteria, please share link? I'd really like to read the story!
(Most of these are either Generation 1, or any-continuity. Only a few are universe-specific)

Maybe after sharing these, the others will stop hounding me.
Or calm down enough so I can write one without being mercilessly interrupted.

What if Knock Out were the offspring of Ratchet. Maybe he was a clone, or Ratchets own doctors faked the young mechs death and made it look like a stillborn. But anyway the mech was raised in secret by the Decepticons with the idea of “If the father is a great medic then surely their offspring would be also.” And slowly and surely he became their idea of a perfect Decepticon medic, with a few personality quirks of course.
Cut to present day and the Autobots find out whether by finding the records, or a Decepticon gloating about how they raised to medic. But how the Autobots react to this is up to you, I just didn’t want this to be lost in the ideas that flew through my head.

Bunny, Bunny, Bunny!!!

In this one, Megatron and Starscream are bondmates that really do care about one another, but they can't show it around others in fear that if they are found out they will bed used against one another. But one day Starscream is shot out of the sky and is severely damaged and is taken back to the Autobot base for repairs and as a prisoner. Because of the nature of bonds, they are able to be detected during a medical scan, but not reveal who the other mate is, so Ratchet finds out that Starscream is bonded but not sure who the other is. Frantic with worry and knowing that his mate is hurt and in enemy servos, Megatron tries to negotiate/rescue Starscream without letting anyone figure out about the bond.
Points if:
Ratchet figures out that Starscream and Megatron are mated but says nothing
An idea to keep Starscream from working against them anymore an Autobot suggests that they try to bond Starscream to an Autobot but find that they can't due to a bond already being there
Thundercraker and Skywarp try and rescue their trinemate but end up being captured as well (whether or not they know about the bond is up to you)
If you can add in how Megatron and Starscream seem to "fight" but find ways to make it look bad without actually hurting one another.
Love if Soundwave and Megatron are total badasses.
