Let's take a behind-the-scenes look at Autobot/Earth relations.
Just one bunny...but it's a little complex.
There's a British lawyer on my f-list who posts incredibly funny stories about his work by the name of
sparkindarkness. He frequently mentions his Mad Secretary who simultaneously protects and undermines his sanity. For a sample, go here.
Anyway, I got to thinking that there is one hell of a lot of bureaucratic crap and annoying, useless officials that Ambassador Spike Witwicky and/or Rodimus Prime have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. What if they had their own Mad Secretaries to help out?

Canoncharactersplz! XD This is a great idea. Bureau-crap must be extremely frustrating to a species which, technology-wise, started out way ahead of 'paper'work.
And I think I've heard of some personal fanons having Cyclonus as Galvatron's 'secretary'/gofer/do-everything bot. In that case, it'd be more like a Sane!Secretary and a Mad!Boss, but...
