Ok... First time poster here. Mostly because a rapid bunny has latched onto my ankle and /won't let go/.
Basically, What if a human was called Prime? Not actually Prime, but called that? The basic idea behind it is this: the decepticons are on earth and active. For what ever reason, the autobots aren't. However, the human resistance, while fighting a losing battle, are not going down easily. Among the few captured documents they've recovered from the 'cons mention Autobots. To the humans, half mythical enemies of their enemies. Among the information are names. Ratchet, Ironhide, Prowl, Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, Jazz, and their leader, the near universally despised-by-the-'cons Prime. In a show of defiance, the humans adopt these names as radio call signs and nicknames, and as people die and are replaced, job titles. Till it comes to be that the leader is known only by their title: Prime. Understandably, when/if the autobots wake/show up, the humans aren't going to be terribly impressed by the fact that no, they not dead, they just hadn't managed to show up in the 50 yrs the decepticons have been on earth.
Hopefully now evil-bunny will leave me alone...
