It is standard practice for a Prime to be bonded to multiple people. Partly this is to prevent him being totally incapacitated by losing a bondmate, partly to make sure his inner circle can be totally trusted to be loyal to him.

Several of Optimus Prime's bondmates are members of the Ark crew - some are obvious, like Prowl and Ratchet, some are less so, and some are still back on Cybertron. No one actually knows how many, and who are in Optimus's network, and some the people who are, would be a surprise to all.
