Cybertronians believe that Primus and Unicron are immortal enemies. Previous attempts on Unicron's part to approach Cybertron have been repelled by the Cybertronian people, sometimes even doing substantial damage to Unicron.

What the Cybertronian people do not know is that their revered god and the feared devil are long-time lovers. Long ago, Primus was forced into stasis and Unicron took to travelling the cosmos, occasionally returning to see if his lover was ready to awaken. Then the misinformation trickled into Cybertronian society, blackening Unicron's image, and the Cybertronian people started fighting off the planet-eater. Unicron presumed that the attacks against him were done at Primus's bidding and has since been angry and grieving at the apparent spurning by his beloved.

Now in modern times, some ancient records have been uncovered that tell the truth. How will this total inversion of everything Cybertron has taken for religious truth be taken, and will anyone be willing to work at repairing the relationship of the divine couple?

Sorry for the delay.

The winner of the Halloween contest is Seeing Things by casora_tigerkin! Congratulations!

casora_tigerkin wins a banner and the recipe for Aunt Pearl's Peach Cobbler, which I will e-mail when I get home (I'm at the library right now).

Both casora_tigerkin and water_smurf will receive banners. Let me know which characters you want. I'm still having some trouble with my computer but I should hopefully be able to work on those the next time I get to the library. I'd try to work on them at home, but my computer keeps freezing every few hours.

Hopefully, things will start working right and I will get back to being an active member of this community.

While I was re-watching the movie, the way Transformers 'bleed' made me think of the changelings from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This reminded me of the theory that all humanoid species in the galaxy and maybe even the changelings were decendants of an ancient humanoid species.

Billions of years ago this ancient and 'first' species in the galaxy felt their time was running out. Seeking to at least leave some kind of memory of themselves in the world, they infected many planets with life. A life that, though very distinctive in its own right, would follow certain rules of confirmity like for example two arms and two legs etc.

Having done their job and in theory prepared for their coming extinction, the species was surprized that death did not wait for them and began to evolve further. They changed from a people that was bound to a solid body to a species with a basic liquid form. This liquid form gave them the ability to change their bodies at will into anything they could imagine. Many, many years later the now changelings have to leave their homeworld due to their sun dying. They evacuate to a small planet in their outer orbital system where they use complex machinery to build replicas of their destroyed cities.

A very long time after that the changeling species looses the taste for body morphing and begins to play in new ways with their machines. They learn that life begins to be 'fun' again if they bind themselves to a solid body again. Newly born children were put into containment fields built into a form of exo-suit to simulate a solid form.

Later generations, having forgotten that they didn't originally start as mechanical beings, would call this containment field a spark chamber. They re-invented long disbanded research in nano-technology and were so able to fully bond with their bodies, giving metal the ability to heal itself.

This were the people of Cybertron.
