I've been reading one too many seeker fics and a few too many evil and/or misguided autobots fics and watching the 07 movie with my cousin who's in the hospital for medical treatments. Anyway, she's a big fan of the farm herself and pointed out Bumblebee's doorwings. Now, I'm not entirely certain where the Autobots found sparkling Bee, but her comments made me think what if Bee (Movieverse obviously) was a Praxian and the Autobots were the ones who destroyed Praxus and blamed it on Megatron. One of the officers (I'm pushing for Ironhide or Ratchet here) found a dying femme with a very young sparkling. She begged them to raise and protect her sparkling The officer took pity on her and Bee was adopted by the Autobots with Prime and the other officers being told the sparkling had been found elsewhere. Now, in current time, Bees all grown up and the Decepticon seekers (Starscream pops out in my head as the most obvious) are starting to notice odd things about the scout, such as showing signs of being seeker kin.
In my bunny, Praxus and Vos were sister cities with Praxus being for the flightless. Praxus could be attacked for a number of reasons, but the Autobot code after the city's destruction states that all Praxians found must be treated as threats and illed on spot for some reason, possibly to keep the secret of who really attacked Praxus a secret.
Update: A commenter pointed out some big hole, big enough for Prime to pass through in vehicle mode. Here are the possible solutions the bunny beat into my head.
Problem 1: Prime is too kind hearted to have destroyed a city.
Solution 1: It wasn't Prime who ordered the attack and the Autobot that did used mechs loyal to him to keep word from spreading about who the real mastermind behind the plot was. Those mechs were then sent of suicide missions to get rid of thme. None survived. Prime never found out about who really destroyed Praxus.
Problem 2: Why would a mother give her child up to her killers?
Solution 2: It wasn't a soldier but a scavenger (someone who would go in after a battle and find any usable items to sell on the black market to either side) who found the dying femme and sparkling. The femme saw it as a last chance, though a slender one, for her sparkling to survive.
Problem 3: The Bee raised by Autobots has been over done and canonically he met Prime only after joining the Autobots.
Solution 3: Bee was raised by the scavenger from Solution 2 but was never told of his origin. When the war really picks up, Bee joins the Autobots due to the Cons killing his guardian or something like so.
The whole important thing of the bunny is Bee is related in some way to seeker kind.
Anyway, someone please adopt this thing. I'm begging here.
