A Note On Tags pt. 2

I've been asked for a tagging tutorial, and I don't believe that's an unreasonable request at all. I will freely admit that I had some issues finding the LJ FAQ that covered the topic back when I was an LJ n00b and know that other people probably have the same issue.

So, I present a brief tagging tutorial (as written by mmouse15 in a previous comment, slightly edited for formatting and a few words that applied to a specific post). This brief tutorial is applicable to pretty much all the communities in the fandom, as well as most other LJ comms. It will also be copied into the community rules.



All you need to do is post the entry. When you click on post, the very next page that comes up has a list.

Edit this entry's tags

Click on the tag one. It takes you to a window where you can pick the appropriate tags from a list. Use your CTRL key to select multiple tags.

If you forget, there is ALWAYS a clickable link to Edit tags at the bottom of the entry.
