Yeah, I know AHM is G1-esque (G1 has so many different branches).
I did read through the Fallen comics and also the stuff on how his sarcophagus (the dorito) was found. I can't help but think part of what happened to change Megatron is a massive reprogramming the Fallen does to him. Giving credit to accepted belief that movie!Fallen is the exact same guy as the one on fire (just at a different part of his life), the Fallen was shown also doing some weird mind-bending shit to the three mechs he "hired" to do his dirty work in Dreamwave. Take that into account, who knows the full extent of what exactly he did to Megatron.
