I guess Skyfire really could be the first who just can't withstand temptation/curiosity any longer and starts to listen to the messages again. (I imagine that even once the Bots know that it's Starscream speaking, they would record any new message. Not actually listen but record it in case it can be used one day.) And once one bot is hooked, the others will follow one by one.
Yeah, Starscream speaking to his "dead" best friend about the horrors he has to endure and his deepest fears. Sort of drives it home just how important Skyfire was for Starscream. I wonder what will happen when Skyfire and the other Autobots have to face the Cons again after all they've learned about Starscream and naturally about his comrades as well our of Starscream's messages.
