*squees* I didn't even think of Perceptor, but it would be an awesome reason for his speech patterns. Hmm... But did he learn English? O.o How do the Autobots speak to the humans, anyhow? Did they just wake up knowing our language(s)?
I actually hadn't thought of him learning English. I don't think any of my G1 fics even mention humans; I tend to forget about them. I think I have a way for him to earn English while perfecting his Old Cybertronian. Depends on if I can convince Blaster to come.
As for how the others learned English... Maybe Teletraan one uploaded it into their systems when they were reformatted with Earth forms?
I like most of the seasons - they all have their strong points and their weak points (except the latest one, which I simply haven't put the effort into learning anything about). And Izzy and Perceptor? Would be awesome. Hmm... Sunstreaker could get the Crest of Friendship (what? Matt was a loner too...). The Crest of Hope? Courage? Light? I dunno...
Sunstreaker totally needs the Crest of Friendship! Even he would be all WTF?! It'd be funny.
Let's see... Perceptor - Knowledge, Sunstreaker - Friendship, Hot Rod - Courage, Bluestreak - Hope... Light... My mind insists on Blaster for some odd reason.
