I didn't think of that. So the X gene is the result of Cybertronian DNA.
Hide it like there's no tomorrow. Perhaps saying he 'found it' and wouldn't mind taking him in. Unless they're Soundwave and Blaster who'd probably say they felt like building a new cassette. Would Megatron even notice if Soundwave got a new cassette?
Megatron might if the cassette ended up with Blue optics. Or one Red and one Blue optic.
