90. Perceptor was killed when he was a youngling. His creators created another Perceptor and pretended the first never existed. But then Perceptor starts having dreams... Inspired by a book I read years ago called (I think) My Sweet Audrina by VC Andrews. I haven't even looked at the book in forever though, so I might have gotten it confused with another. This one would be interesting if whoever picked it up knew the book (and yes, you have the right book, though I'd quibble about the writer - Virginia Andrews died in 1986 and anything labelled "VC Andrews is by the ghost writer who her family hired after her death. My Sweet Audrina was definitely a Virgina Andrews book) and carried out the same basic plot.
Basically, Audrina didn't have an older sister, the perfect older sister she always heard about was really herself, from before a rape she suffered and trauma made her blank out her life.
It's possible that this plotbunny could be allied with 155 - 155. You know those people who lure people into their homes and trap them, rape them, and keep them until they tire of them? Well, Perceptor was once a victim of one of them.
108. Optimus and Megatron are locked in a room together and are told to work out their differences. All I can say is LOL - I want someone to write this!
115. He didn't want him, but he didn't want anyone else to have him either. Another one Not-Maggy pounced on - he had stalker who submitted a song to a regular Autobot music game (I'm going to post a summary of the Music Game soon) that says something very like this. The song was intended to slam Rodimus, whom Magnus was bonded to (under unnusual circumstances).
The song really exists, it's titled "He Don't Love You", by the Australian band Human Nature.
128. Perceptor is Hot Rod's creator. Yet another Not-Maggy found intrieguing - the mega-bunny I mentioned about, with the stalker, has a situation where Rodimus Prime is badly injured. It'd put a bit of a different tilt on Perceptor's part if he's Roddy's creator.
86. 2007. Grimlock and Swoop have a sparkling... named Perceptor. They were shocked and pleased when they realize how intelligent their child is.
129. Perceptor wanted real parents. Parents who asked where he had been. Parents who made sure he did his homework. Parents who were parents, not these overgrown kids who created him. Parents who supported him, encouraged him... These two struck me as also being able to go together.
