They'd be having so much fun that it'd become more of a contest to see which could dig up more dirt on the other. And that would turn into more of a pen-pal kind of thing. And their cassettes would have been so used to Blaster and Soundwave venting to them that when they started sharing their troubles with each other instead, they'd ask what was going on...

Well, the fact that you're even asking makes me suspect that it's not Perceptor (because that would be obvious). Ummm... (I'm assuming it's a 'Con, but I might be off on even that)... ummm... Megatron? Thundercracker, Skywarp? Soundwave? (It'll be really sad if all those guesses are wrong but I wouldn't be surprised...)
