Prowl was a rather unorthodox police officer before the war.

Suppose someone tries this with the bots and cons- and succeeds.

4. Though he was loyal to the autobots, he’d never stop being grateful to the decepticons for starting the war.
5. Oddly enough, Perceptor is the ‘big brother’ of most of the younger ‘bots.

7. Soundwave is the only decepticon Megatron can trust to pass on his orders without twisting them to his advantage. At least, that’s what he thinks.
8.[G1] The transformers wake up much later, when the first of the truly sentient humanmade robots start making their faltering steps towards equality.

11.[G1] Straw Vulcan is a rather apt description for Prowl, at least in fanon. This is because his logic processor has been malfunctioning for most of his existence. When it finally gets replaced, everyone, Prowl most of all, is surprised by the personality he develops. (“Or, the logical explanation is that you’re both impulse-driven idiots. Do that again and I’m ordering Ratchet to paint you two lime-green.”)
12.[G1] Stargate: SG1 Crossover. “I’d be more impressed by your record of resurrections if Danny didn’t have you beat by the time he’d worked with us for two years.” “Jack!”
13.?: Energon does not have tentacles, and if it does, I do not want to hear about it.

14.[G1] A down-on-his-luck Perceptor goes searching for work in Kaon, where a young rabble-rouser named Megatron hires him to work for his new ‘organization’, the decepticons.
15.[G1] Optimus understood Megatron, but Galvatron is Hot Rod’s specialty.
16.[G1] Motormaster is killed. The Stunticons take advantage of the rare opportunity to acquire a leader they actually like. (Whether or not the autobot is interested in defecting.)
17.[2007] Megatron doesn’t understand why so many time travelers are trying to kill him.
18. Unicron loves his children. If it takes acting like a bogeyman to get them to stop killing each other, so be it. (Ever notice that Unicron is the one threat guaranteed to unite both factions?)
19. Prowl knew the other was a spy, but kept it to himself. As long he was properly managed, he did more good then harm to the cause.
20.[G1] The autobots don’t know why the human media is making such a big deal out of Sparkplug’s new lover. It wasn’t like either man was behaving unusually.
21. One of the autobot’s human allies is a changeling, banished from Underhill for the crime of being physically imperfect, used to replace a more desirable human child.
22. An aggravated human cop arrests a decepticon for indecent exposure, on the basis of him not actually wearing anything.
23.[G1] Skyfire, upon learning about the aerialbots little jaunt to the past, convinces Perceptor to recreate the device, and heads back to the Cybertron of shortly after his disastrous survey of Earth.
24. Primus has his avatar, Unicron has his and Gaia has hers, all created in the image and personality of their god. Like all overworked subordinates, they occasionally get together to gossip about their bosses.
25. Blaster causes a scandal when he broadcasts a Unicronian service in memorial of several recruits who worshipped him before their deaths.
26. “The lower city is mine, its people are mine, its children are mine. If I find them that’s doing all this kidnapping and murdering, they’d best pray for mercy, because once I get my teeth in ‘em, I will never let them go.”-Terrier
The decepticons find out why it is a fantastically bad idea to slag off city commanders and security directors. The autobots find out why Ultra Magnus and Red Alert should never have been allowed in the same room as each other. (Ignore, for the sake of the bunny, Red’s status as almost-certainly-dead in season 3)
27.[G1] Scavenger /Bluestreak, bonding over scrap (“This piece is from my apartment before my city was destroyed” “This crystal is the last bit of my home I have left. The others destroyed the rest.”)
28. Mirage will never love earth, but he's coming to like its poetry.

So with their combined knowledge of the way he thinks and acts, if they worked together they could cure his madness. Except neither of them are sure they really want to.

Icy!Blitz: Curious. Apparently humans without external coverings are liable to be charged for criminal activity. With such laws, how is it possible for them to conduct basic operations of hygiene?

Prowl and Megatron get fed up when their collections of random stuff spill over into the common base area, and toss them into an isolation cell in the brig (along with the extra portion of junk until they can think of somewhere else to store it or decide which bits to throw away). Some of the stuff in Scavenger's pile that he had when he was jailed was actually part of Mixmaster's experiments, and when he fiddled with it he opened a direct portal from his cell in the 'Con base to Bluestreak's in the Ark.

Hmm...Thundercracker (Mort aux Chats), Hook (Instant Fish), not that he'd get the symbolism, Skyfire (Sometimes it Happens), and Optimus (And the days are not full enough).

This sounds really interesting - I haven't seen fic with Cybertronians and human religion, and I'd kind of like to (as long as it doesn't upset the awesome balance of 'everyone being nice to each other' that seems to exist in this fandom).

That's a really cute image. Blue and Scavenger sitting in their respective brig cells, passing scrap back and forth, telling stories of the individual bits and trading sparkly bits.

No, Ms.T was a bit unorthodox, so we just got a packet of poetry, which we discussed. At length. And wrote poetry based on the forms demonstrated. I still have that packet.

Sort of. He doesn't really believe, per say, but his mom did and his dad does, and he prays with her rosary when he's feeling stressed or worried, more to invoke her memory then acquire divine assistance. Silverbolt asked why he was doing that, and spike explained his mom's brand of Christianity, and Christianity in general, to help him acclimatize to Earth.
This sounds really interesting - I haven't seen fic with Cybertronians and human religion, and I'd kind of like to (as long as it doesn't upset the awesome balance of 'everyone being nice to each other' that seems to exist in this fandom).
Yeah, it would be interesting. I don't believe myself, but I love writing about it, because the rituals and motives are very compelling, even if you don't share the belief behind it. You'd have to be very careful not to turn it into a conversion-fic though.
