I know I've adopted a few bunnies from others, but for the life of me, I have dropped them - can anyone point me to the posts and/or authors that I've promised to write a drabble, fic, or something for?
(~~I suppose I could go back and reread comments, but am afraid of picking up hordes of bunnies that somehow missed me before~~)

I revamped one of the stories I have been working on, and a small side-story that's barely mentioned because it has really nothing to do with the main story, just answers a question about one character, has no place in the story now. So I'm putting it here because it's too good to throw away.

This is inspired by... several stories I've read, where Soundwave's cassettes turn out to be his sparklings.

It won't stop gnawing at my ankles, but I can't seem to write anything (much less something that satisfies it). Hopefully, sharing it here will distract the darn thing for a while.

Rumble and Frenzy have been hiding in plain sight as symbiotes for eons, but they're going to have a find a new way to protect themselves and their sparklings: Ravage, Ratbat, Buzzsaw, Laserbeak and... Soundwave.

Seriously, this won't shut up.

Now, in my head, Soundwave's the youngest, but the only one of them whose systems can run a larger mech body, but that puts the most emotionally vulnerable in the most contact with the decepticons on a daily basis. The mask and visor kept him from betraying his youth and relative innocence: either from expressions or because it'd be obvious just on seeing his features.

And then cue something like someone sinister finding out and they have to seek sanctuary with the Autobots, or the Seekers find out and protection protocols activate, or the war's over and everyone goes "Zuh?". One of those fanfiction staples that I just love reading.

1) The reason for the confusion about Rumble and Frenzy is because they like to play a prank on everyone by frequently switching paint jobs. So both RIBFIR and FIBRIR are correct, but at different times. The only one who can tell them apart is Soundwave, even the other Cassetticons get confused sometimes.

2) In "The Return of Optimus Prime" when Jessica Morgan was paralyzed, First Aid gave her prosthetic legs so she could walk again. Why was this never done for Chip Chase?

I... totally blame this entire post on my own insanity. And TheyFightCrime.org as well for the first three. While the site gives everything in "he's a... she's a" format, some of the results were too good not to share, if only to see if anyone else thought of the same characters I did.

So, here in the UK we've been lucky enough to have Revenge of the Fallen released on the 19th, and I managed to get a showing in today which in turn has spewed a whole bunch of bunnies in my brain.

Kinda inspired by complaints I've heard, but here it is:

G1 Megatron and Optimus Prime face off Movie!verse Megatron and Optimus Prime. Why?

G1 Megatron: You realize the movie sucked, right?
Movie!Megatron: Not worse then your cartoon did!
G1 OP: I beg to differ- your Frenzy wasn't even colored. How can one carry on the most rareified argument of Frenzy being red or blue if he isn't even colored?
Movie!OP: Shut it you tin can! You realize that the reason why nobody liked you overmuch was because you were always so predictable!
G1OP: Better then you. You don't even have a personality! Besides, what kind of leader says 'Oops, my bad'?
Movie!Megatron: Hey, we revived your dying franchise!
G1 Megatron: Only because the movie was so bad they came back crying to us from horror.
Movie!Megatron: As if your sucky animation was better.

Movieverse AU:
Bumblebee wasn't the first Cybertronian who found the Witwickys.
Cade noticed the entry on ebay first and made his way to Sam and the glasses, either deleting the entry or just letting him stay.
Instead of threatening Sam, the Decepticons decided to use one of Starscream's favourite tactics for once and prove why they were named after deception.
Barricade becomes Sam's first car and makes contact with him, telling him about the terrible war and their suffering planet.
And warns him of the evil forces of Prime's Autotbots.
After some initial misunderstandings Sam is hell bent on helping and agrees to meet the temporary Decepticon leader, Starscream, and his troops, so that they can find the Allspark and free Megatron.

How will the Autobots react?
How long can Cade, Frenzy and the others maintain the charade?
Or will they perhaps even come to respect the humans at the end, at least enough to leave them alone or accept them as new soldiers?
How will Megatron react?
And what will Sam say when the truth will be revealed? Or won't he even care anymore?
