Once again, I have fallen behind in replying to comments. Hopefully, I'll be fully caught up by next weekend. Sorry for taking so long.
Actually, what I did was pick out most of the Blaster ones (while I was typing bunnies I had written on paper) and put them on this list so Perceptor would think I was giving him a break.
1. Perceptor: "I'm afraid of you. Why am I afraid of you?"
2. Mild crossover with BTVS. Someone wishes vengeance on the Autobots and Decepticons.
3. Beachcomber/Blaster.
4. Art. Kitty!Primus and Puppy!Unicron.
5. "A toy crane? A crane -- yes, it is very suggestive." Labors of Hercules by Agatha Christie.
6."Are we not told than it is difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven? Naturally, then, he should have priority in hell."
7. Kill me if you can. Stop me if you dare. (Quote from a BTVS fic).
8. What if Springer was a sleeper agent?
9. "My Boyfriend's back and you're gonna get in trouble." [Different version.]
10. Someone deliberately turned him into a sparkling.
11. An injury causes Blaster to go deaf. He then starts going insane because he can't hear anything.
12. Perceptor thought seeing the dead was quite normal. He only found out otherwise when his creators had him admitted to a mental hospital.
13. Premature burial.
14. Perceptor never seemed to care whether he lived or died. He didn't go out of his way to save himself, but he wasn't suicidal either. Everyone wonders why this is, but they'd never guess the truth...
A. He had been dead once and had been brought back. He had been in heaven and now feels that he is in hell.
B. He used to be immortal and doesn't understand what dying really means.
C. He's still immortal and sees no reason to actively protect himself from something that can't hurt him.
D. He has a glitch that makes him unable to understand the concept of death.
15. Thundercracker/Springer. (It's idiosyn's fault for making me want to see more of this).
16. Thank you in silence.
17. Perceptor looked so disappointed when he couldn't find a button that said "Do Not Push".
18. He knew all of the details but none of the specifics.
19. Perceptor's creators always called him a demon, so he grew up believing he was one.
20. Whenever Blaster or Soundwave plays music, the other can hear it.
21. "Never forget, Perceptor. Never forget what the Autobots did to us." How could he have forgotten?
22. Red Alert was always able to notice things others missed. And it really has nothing to do with his glitch.
23. He tried so hard to convince himself that he was sane.
24. He refused to be crazy.
25. Who would Perceptor be if he wasn't Perceptor?
26. Perceptor killed someone once. He had hated him, had wanted him to die, but had never meant to kill him. Perceptor was unable to handle the fact that he did. He replayed that moment over and over in his mind, watching himself commit murder. And eventually, the image of himself changed. It was no longer himself who had killed him. He was merely a witness. He didn't consciously decide to lie to himself, but he could no longer remember the truth. And eventually, he forgot it all together. But then he starts having nightmares about seeing someone murdered...
27. Perceptor, Blaster, Red Alert, Inferno... they all died vorns before the crew of the Ark woke. But somehow, they manage to return to the land of the living, to Earth. They are only alive on Earth, and only so long as no one on Earth learns of their deaths.
28. There is a serial killer who hitchhikes and brutally tortures and kills all those who are stupid enough to give him a lift. What would happen if an Autobot saw him hitchhiking? Give him a ride, right? I wonder how the killer would react to that. Especially if the Autobot had a holoform.
29. Hook was scared and Scavenger just didn't know what to do.
30. Perceptor doesn't have a mobile altmode, so how did he manage to meet a phantom hitchhiker?
31. People call Frenzy and Rumble twins. They're not. They are not even related. One day Soundwave just... found Rumble and brought him home.
32. Forgiven by Within Temptation.
33. Jazz find a recording of Perceptor, when he was a sparkling, singing a rather creepy song. (Song from BTVS).
34. An Experiment gone wrong. The Howling by Within Temptation.
35. From the moment he was created, Perceptor has been alone, locked in a small brightly lit room. He never sees anyone else, doctors only entering the room when Perceptor is deep in recharge. Why have they done this?
36. He was a murderer, a cold blooded killer believed to be the creation of Unicron himself. He was hunted by all, but was never caught and eventually, he vanished all together. But he was never forgotten and he became the monster in the stories parents told their children to get them to behave. No one believes he is still alive. And no one even imagined that he's standing there beside them, smiling innocently and shyly agreeing to meet somewhere in private...
37. Ok, you all know who I was talking about in bunny number 36. So... what if Perceptor didn't remember being a killer? What if his memories were completely erased. And what if someone who knew him back then, met him now?
38. Blaster is badly hurt, disoriented, and confused. Rewind is the only one there to help him and Rewind is not having an easy job of it. He's not even sure if Blaster is coherent enough to recognize and understand him. "It's going to be ok; I'm not going to hurt you."
39.Springer Santa Baby.
40. Most believe that Blaster agreed to be a host to Cassettes to protect them. But the truth is, Eject, Rewind, Ramhorn, and Steeljaw agreed to be Blaster's Cassettes to protect him.
41. Blaster: *sulking in the rec room*
Jazz: "Hey, what's wrong?"
Blaster: *ignores*
Jazz: *hears something* "What's that tapping noise?"
Blaster: *ignores*
Eject: *over comm* "Jazz, can you please tell him that we're sorry?"
Jazz: *confused, then realizes something* *shocked* "You locked them in? What did they do?"
Blaster: *SULK*
42. He wasn't stupid, he was just taught wrong.
43. Supposedly, when the Cassettes are within him, Blaster is at least faintly aware of their surface thoughts. And what if one of the Cassettes was thinking of/remembering a rather... intimate encounter? "Ok, can anyone tell me why Blaster just tried to gouge out his own optics?"
44. "Don't mind him. He just likes being dramatic."
45. When Wheeljack and Ratchet left with the Ark, Perceptor was a timid, shy scientist. Too gentle and harmless to be considered dangerous. Now though, after four million years in stasis, the Ark manages to contact Cybertron... and Wheeljack and Ratchet meet a very different Perceptor.
46. Art. Sparkling!Blaster sleeping curled up against Steeljaw.
47. Art. Human hugging Omega Supreme's foot. Omega looks nervous and is trying to stay very, very still.
48. Blaster is the creation of Shockwave. Blaster doesn't know this.
49. Jazz/Blaster. Jazz is unknowingly infected with a virus. This virus causes his behavior to become somewhat erratic and his temper to shorten. He doesn't become violent exactly, but still dangerous. Due to worries over the recent activities of the Decepticons, only a few Autobots notice anything wrong. And of those few only Blaster, his lover, knows exactly how serious it is. Blaster doesn't realize it's a virus; all he knows that it's getting dangerous living with Jazz. He tries talking things out with Jazz but it quickly escalates into a loud argument, and then a physical fight. Blaster doesn't want to hurt Jazz but Jazz is unable to care if he hurts Blaster. All he cares about is making sure that Blaster. Cannot. Leave.
50. "Take him and run!"
51. He was cheating and he didn't even try to hide it.
52. The Neutrals are believed to be just that; Neutrals. But unlike most Autobots and Decepticons believe, they do not stay out of the fighting. If the Decepticons appear to be winning the war, the Neutrals help the Autobots. If the Autobots seem to be winning, the Neutrals help the Decepticons. Eventually, the Autobots and Decepticons realize what's happening and they don't like it. So the war is temporarily halted as both Decepticons and Autobots attempt to hunt down the newly renamed Balancers.
53. Blaster ran away from his creators (Rewind and Eject) before the war. He didn't turn up again until long after the beginning.
54. This one fic ( Five Time Travelers the Autobots Never Met by tiamatschild) said that The Doctor (Doctor Who) and Perceptor shared the same mental shorthand. So I got to thinking... Do Time Lords always look human? If they do, you can have him being... oh what if Perceptor was raised by the Doctor?!
55. And what if that Police Box was an Autobot?
56. Wreck-gar and Perceptor as criminals. Inspired by number 6 from this post.
57. Blaster and Soundwave were lovers and both planned to join the Decepticons together. But an accident causes Blaster's memory banks to be damaged and the Autobots that found him created a history for him. When Soundwave saw Blaster with the Autobots, he thought he had been betrayed. Now though, on Earth, Soundwave learns what really happened and tries to get his Blaster back.
58. Swoop uncovers a Decepticon plot.
59. Swoop undercover. Bunny the result of a typo.
60. Someone travels back in time. Someone else sees this someone so this someone kidnaps this someone else.
61. Swoop wondered if Optimus was concerned for his welfare.
62. Art. Rumble dressed up as Motormaster. Motormaster trying to look angry instead of amused.
63. When he was a youngling, he used to pretend to be homeless. He'd sit on the corner and people would give him money. He enjoyed his game... until he met a real homeless youngling.
64. Using younglings as spies. Because who would suspect a kid?
65. They went out of their way to prevent the sparks from merging.
66. "I rarely push the button."
67. One cannot lie. The other cannot speak the truth. Who is who?
68. "You mean there really is a banned list?"
69. Perceptor is actually from an alternate reality. A post apocalyptic Cybertron/Earth.
70. Entropic cascade failure. Like in Stargate SG-1.
71. "I'm so glad we have the war to give us something to do."
72. He had the air of someone who had been all over town looking for him.
73. Perceptor is kind of like a cat. If you look for him, you can't find him. But if you're not looking for him, you can't go three steps without tripping over him.
74. Best Aft Contest.
75. Nothing but hatred for those he had killed.
76. The undeniable truth.
76. Despite what everyone believed, he had not tried to surpass it.
77. Health Plans.
78. "We're lying. We're not dying."
79. His memories had started coming back the moment someone told him his name.
80. Art. Blaster looking at the 'camera'. He looks annoyed.
Well, that's as much of a break as you're getting, Perceptor. *drags Perceptor over to the inprogress list*
Perceptor: *cries*
