If I recall the original bunny correctly, it was a a childhood (public) name, and Adult (public) name, a nickname and a private name.
I personally can see someone having more than one nickname in a lifetime - especially a Cybertronian lifetime - but then I used to be in the LotR fandom, where at least one Silmarillion human got at least three nicknames due to moving about a lot and staying in a number of places. LotR also has that elves have one name given to them by their father, one by their mother, and self-chosen nicknames and nicknames given by others.
