Mainly 'cause I'm really tired of people using wolves and other pack oriented creatures as the bad guys in stories. There is so much story potential for unity, loyalty and family with pack animals, that it's such a shame hardly anybody realizes this. I think that having a pack would be one of the most wonderful things in the world.
I, too, have have a huge obsession with dinosaurs. A fellow fan! Three for three! *spazzes* And an entire week must have gone by before I began to calm down from from hearing about that tyrannosaur thigh-bone.
Or when you're six years old proudly displaying the cat jaw bone you found Excuse me while I go "Awwww".
