This idea is becoming more and more amusing to me. Optimus Prime does his work and says his speeches and shares his wisdom and fights his battles in the Cybertronian equivalent of a bikini. Isn't that kind of awkward for the other Autobots, to say nothing of the Decepticons he's fighting? And Soundwave in a 'bikini' would probably be more intimidating to his fellow 'Cons just become of the sheer weirdness.
I wonder then how Seeker canopies are considered?
Certainly fits with the fanon idea of some Seekers being flying sluts.
Megatron may be leader of Cybertron, but Optimus is still the Prime in the religious sense of the title.
Hmm, maybe Megatron tried to create a new religion and make himself its god/high priest to ease the transition, because the planet leader has also always been the religious leader. (Sunstormus Prime as the leader of a theocracy?)
So says Magnus during those four million years Optimus was missing.
Hey, could the stasis lock kind of slowly creep over the spark-bond? So as the years pass and Optimus doesn't return, Magnus starts feeling wearier and wearier. He blacks out at random times and it takes longer and longer for him to wake up... Sleeping Beauty!

XD Yep, just what I was thinking. In some way, Megatron and Optimus are equals on a really deep level; so even in situations where one is 'second in command', neither of them leads or follows the other.

Have you ever thought about an AU bunny where Magnus is the Prime's bodyguard, and if something happens to the Prime (death; loss of a limb; trauma; loss of a bonded) than Magnus' punishment is the same? ...I wonder what evil!Magnus would look like/act like/be called? Magatron?

Well, wouldn't that be awkward if Megatron couldn't figure out that there was more than one 'Starscream'. As soon as Megatron got slightly less uneasy with Starscream crushing on him... he wouldn't be anymore. No wonder Megatron hits Starscream so much - he makes his head hurt.
Stop giving him easy excuses to turn Optimus against Elita - it makes me... worry.
...and I just thought of another one. Sorry! Magnus and Elita had an arranged spark-bond for social reasons. Both thought they were content until the Prime started taking an interested in them. The couple was suddenly on his guest list for practically every function. Elita jumps to conclusions and believes that the Prime is interested in taking her as a consort (and although she's already bonded, it's only an arranged bonding and he's the Prime, so...). She doesn't bother hiding that she's flattered and would be interested. Magnus would be upset that she's so fickle - he thought they had a good relationship, despite the fact that they hadn't loved or even known each other at first - but he's also almost positive that it isn't Elita the Prime is interested in.
