And re: citizenship - is Cybertron (even pre-war Cybertron) even a democracy/democratic republic? With the Matrix determining the Prime, etc., it seems almost like a theocracy. Of course, a theocracy would be pretty easy to set up when you're walking on your deity.
I wonder what would happen if the Dinos, Stunties, etc. did become citizens of the U.S. and discovered that they liked being able to vote and have a say in their governmental representatives. Wouldn't it be weird if that motley group of mechs created on Earth started a Cybertronian movement for a radical new government system?
