So you don't think that Shattered Glass Blurr would be slow? I haven't actually been able to READ Shattered Glass yet, so I'm going purely off of Teletraan. I think he's just as fast, just crueller and not at all as panicky.
I suppose there could be two (or more) mirror-verses: one where the factions/motivations are switched, and one where each individual person's characteristics are reversed. For example, (to use a kirin_saga-type model), a universe with an evil Perceptor and a universe with a stupid, blind Perceptor. I really like that idea. What if the three worlds collided? And does this apply only to G1, or to the other continuities also? Holy crap, that's a lot of 'verses!
Well, maybe Tracks & Powerglide were already good friends or even more before they met Raoul and Astoria. Then the two humans would kind of have to accept the situation the way it is. Or Tracks and Powerglide could get to know each other while trying to mediate between their human friends. You know, I never thought of Tracks and 'Glide together, but it seems as if it'd work.
Or Raoul and Astoria could really be moving toward a love/hate kind of relationship, and confuse the poor 'Bots tremendously. "But just yesterday you said you HATED him! Now you're dating him? How does that even work??" Oh, man, I could TOTALLY see that! The rich uptown girl and the tough guy from the wrong side of the tracks! (Wrong side of the Tracks? Hehe...) It's like a movie! Now I kinda wanna see Raoul/Astoria... because I really needed more ideas right now...
Or Raoul could hang out with Powerglide, and Astoria with Tracks when the humans aren't getting along with their usual Autobot buddies. That's actually a cute mental image.
*runs from growing bunny horde* Run, Forrest! Run!
Now you're moving into the area of my personal canon, which insists that for every 'Bot there is an equal and opposite reaction 'Con, and vice versa. Not necessarily pairing-wise, but just a strange kind of cross-faction parallel or unusual dynamic. That's a very interesting concept, actually. (And I feel a lot better that I'm not the only one to draw parallels between Sideswipe and Skywarp. I have a feeling they'd be buds if not for the war)
