Wheeljack: "I was hoping you knew."
Ratchet: "Hunt him down?"
Wheeljack: "Hunt him down."

And if someone else found out before they did...

Wheeljack: "Any idea why Brawn is glaring at us and loading his gun?"
Ratchet: "I was hoping you knew."
Wheeljack: "Run away?"
Ratchet: "Run away."

And what would happen if it was Brawn who told them before Perceptor screwed up his courage enough? How would they react and how would Brawn react to it all?

I can see them all being shy about it... then Perceptor getting fed up with how long it's taking and just grabbing them and kissing them.

…and then Ratchet just stands there stunned for a bit and Wheeljack laughs after a second of shocked silence. ^.^

I’d bet the twins would start a betting pool for when one of them just gets fed up with the whole thing and shoved the other two into a dark room to bond.

But… when people are nervous, they get on-edge. What would happen if they started fighting before any of them screwed up the courage?

When they get out of this, I bet they are going to have a long talk with Perceptor about 'appropriate' behavior when being held prisoner. *thinks* I wonder if they'd resort to CPU tampering to get him to have a higher sense of self-preservation.

And Perceptor would have no clue why they were so upset. I don’t think that he would be able to understand that they cared about him just as much as he did. He wouldn’t think that he was cared for like that by anyone. Once he explained that, I think Ratchet and Wheeljack would realize that they have a bigger problem on their hands.

"Before the war actually. You were at the ceremony too, but I'm not surprised you don't remember. You were too busy drinking and dancing on tables and singing off-key. Basically making a fool of yourself."
"I... what?"
"Don't worry about it. Perceptor thought it was funny. He still has a picture of you doing the hula."

*bursts out laughing*

*LOVES* How did he get to Earth, I wonder. Was he killed during the building of the Ark? Was his body hidden within the walls? Or instead of haunting a place, does he haunt a person? His killer? Someone he loved? Family? Friend? Someone he believes can solve his murder?

I think that he probably popped up from Cybertron because he wanted to still help the Autobots.

By the way, have you read the Switching Plate?

I bet it has something to do with Skyfire. Oh, what if he's Skyfire's bondmate and all the time Skyfire was trapped under the ice, Perceptor felt the cold and snow and ice as well? He would have been so frozen that maybe he had to be hospitalized. He only got better after Skyfire was found.

Hmmm… good idea…

*LOVES* Is he going insane because he thinks he's going insane? Is he going insane because Ratchet and Wheeljack are dead and he can't handle it? Is he going insane because he can see them, see into a world the living aren't supposed to be a part of?

I personally think it’s a combination of the first two reasons. How do you think Ratchet and Wheeljack would help him without making him go further off the edge?

*LOVES* I wonder how Primus can be so far from his real body. Unicron too. *thinks* I wonder if Skywarp has a large appetite.

I think that they just left their bodies, turning them into shells that they could at some point crawl back into. And Skywarp probably does have a large and inclusive appetite! :D :D :D

And moodswings. Can't forget moodswings. Like crying for no reason. I'd love to see how the Autobots handle a PMSing Moodswingy Perceptor.

Probably the same way they would handle him being pregnant. Run for the hills.
