1. (G1 - or any other 'verse applying to this) You just didn't mess with Sunstreaker, even if he was defenseless like in this moment. Because then, Sideswipe was the one going to rip your head off...
2. (G1) It was just that easy: Ratchet hit Wheeljack after an explosion for endangering himself again. Wheeljack, on the other hand, glared Ratchet into the ground when the medic had neglected himself again.
3. (Can go along with Nr. 2) Even Ratchet withered under that glare of Wheeljack.
4. (G1) Prime decides Prowl needs a vacation - and goes right along with.
5. The attack hit the Decepticon leader as what it was - a blow directly into the wall behind him. He hadn't even time to recover properly after he slid down before something sharp stabbed against his front. Looking up, he saw something he had always dreamed about to see. In this moment, with the gun directly pointing against his head and the savage look in the truck's optics, his greatest enemy loosing control did now seem more like from a nightmare.
OP: Tell me... *he practically growled these two words, optics brightening in an almost unbearable light* ... Tell me, where ARE Jazz and Prowl?!
6. (Armada) Megatron would get back on that insolent medic Red Alert for embarrassing like that by saving Optimus Prime.
That was, once he had gotten his aft loose from the door.
7. The picture burnt itself forever into their CPUs, leaving a hideous mark in their systems. Prowl slapped a hand over his mouth as not to scream in horror, while Jazz gaped and trembled as cold waves racked through his body.
In front of them, Optimus Prime, beloved leader and even more importantly, their beloved friend, hung impaled on a huge rock spike; velvet streams flowed down his body and the stone, shining like veins in the dim light.
8. It didn't happen often, but sometimes, the Decepticons felt something twinge when seeing how Prime cared for his soldiers.
9. (Animated) In „Return of the Headmaster“, Optimus hinted indirectly that Sentinel failed him somehow because he said ironically how “Sentinel had covered for him at that incident”. What maybe did happen?
10. (G1) Tracks, Sunstreaker and Mirage swap their respective color schemes with each other – completely involuntary, of course. :)
11. (Armada) Optimus and Jetfire can combine themselves with each other. Does that mean their bondmates like in a gestalt team?
If not, they are now. Yep, AU where they both notice how more and more restless they feel when they’re not close to each other, and it gets worse with every new merging.
12. (Animated) Jazz: Sentinel, can I ask you a question?
Sentinel: … Fine, what is it?
Jazz: … Do ya really hate Optimus? ‘Cause I’ve got the feeling you looked sad looking down ta Earth when we took off.
Sentinel: …

Date: 2008-12-03 04:57 pm (UTC)I didn't particularly think of your "Persuasion" series, although it would fit like above said. I wanted something where OP's relationship to his two officers is shown in an extreme situation and how much he worries for them, on the other hand put him into a situation where he just cracks and shows how dangerous he can be.
And what better than a devious Megatron trying to break his enemy by abducting his highest officers (and good friends at the same time), playing mind games to wear him down. Just in my bunny, he underestimated of what Prime is capable...
