"Bumblebee: The Last Sparkling.........O rly?" Bunny

OK, riding on the idea that Bumblebee is/was the "last sparkling" or the youngest of the Autobots...But what about Cliffjumper?

1.) Cliffjumper was a youngling (equivalent to a human toddler or child, I think)--the very last one after the Decepticons wiped out the sparklings and femmes, in fact...That is, until little Bumblebee was born/found. Now, the other Autobots coo over and smother the little yellow-bot. Enter muse(s):

-Cliffjumper, like most children would be, is hurt and jealous. He doesn't like the turning of attention. He resolves to be better than Bumblebee in any and every way, but Bumblebee's sweetness, bravery, and natural charms overturn his attempts.

-Upon realizing that there's no way he can be loved for the same reasons Bumblebee is, Cliffjumper decides to stand out by being tougher and stronger than the yellow minibot (though he comes off as meaner).

-Cliffjumper ends up growing a soft spot for Bumblebee--after doing everything and anything he can to GET RID of him.

I've been musing on these ideas for a while, now...'Cause CJ and BB are so similar. And I've seen more than one fic where Bumblebee is the last sparkling.

So, I REALLY hope someone takes 'em, or I may have to do 'em, myself (and I fear it won't be pretty).

I would also like someone to take this. I laways prefered Cliffjumper over Bumblebee. I can't take this myself due to other writing commitments.

I like that idea. In fact, I might incorporate some of that idea into my in-progress fic, 'Young Blood'. Basically the story line is that everyone thinks 'Bee is the youngest mech alive so his spark might have the answer to the creation of a new Allspark, but to do that they need to experiment. I could make Cliffjumper a secondary character who still holds somewhat of a grudge from his younger days (yah, flashbacks), though he starts to befriend 'Bee and see him more than a possible answer to the species survival. The irony is that they are all wrong about ‘Bee, but I won’t go into that.

Of course, it might take me a while to get around to actually throwing the story out there since I'm having a poll to see which plot bunny I have actually gets attention first, and Young Blood is one of the ones being voted on. ^^;
