4.  The minibots are all adult mechs in youngling bodies.  The war caused a lack of access to the materials to create adult bodies leaving htem with no choice but to stay in youngling bodies.  After so long without being given adult bodies, they have become unable to survive the transfer between bodies.  However, youngling bodies do not have as much available memory space and old memories are always being written over.  Spike only learns about this when Bumblebee forgets him.

I could honestly see Prowl saying this about Jazz in any of the universes.

I've never seen a Prowl/Jazz fic with this somewhat dark tone but I'd love to read one.

I've never seen a fic with this theme either, but there is a pic on deviantart called You Can Never Hide (http://yamiyouka.deviantart.com/art/You-Can-Never-Hide-100557817) by yamiyouka that kind of gives that impression. This pic is why I thought of Prowl and Jazz for this bunny.

This one makes me think of Starscream - particularly a competent!scream take on him. He's constantly failing to take over the Decepticons as a ruse for when he really does.

Heh, actually Skywarp works just as well, if not better. They both work, if in slightly different ways.
