G1: Ratchet's violent nature

We all know it's a common theme in G1 (and often movieverse, because of it's thematic links to G1) that Ratchet is known to frequently throw wrenches and threaten to weld patients to various surfaces or remodel them into appliances.
Now that Autobots know what Ratchet is like, and live with it, but what if a visiting human who is sensitive to issues of domestic violence (or violent workmates) sees one of these incidents and decides something should be done about Ratchet's attitude?
What I really would like to see is someone who is not used to Ratchet and his attitude pulling him up on it. Maybe it would turn out a look into the numbers of Autobots who neglect their medical needs (Optimus is often cast as doing this a lot), but I'd like to see mostly a focus on Ratchet himself.
[Inspired by this fic, where even just overhearing a discussion about having sparklings incites Ratchet to throw a wrench that knocks Prowl offline. In my book, there's something wrong with that. Thankfully Prowl mentions putting Ratchet in the brig after waking up.]
