I Have a friend who is working on Marvel Masterworks - original comics from the 1940's/ww2 that include famous characters such as Captain America, Sub Mariner, The Human torch, etc etc etc.
Which leads me to my first set of bunnies:
1) Transformers, before arriving on earth, never had anything akin to Super heroes. But after reading some comics and outright smuggling them to Cybertron, Transformers start creating their own superheros. real ones. Not just Vid flick characters.
Who would they be and what would their powers be? (Vector Prime always screams 'super hero' to me.) And would they don gaudy yellow spandex-like colors, too?
2) Seaspray, Beachcomber and Hound meet a very elderly Sub Mariner/Prince Namor. (Only because Sub Mariner is my all time favorite ww2 super hero!).
2.a - They're protecting him from assassination attempts. He knows where the Decepticon base is and the 'Cons are. he knows all the bases' weaknesses. The Decepticons have caught on and are going after his kingdom as revenge.
3) Transformers are the key to human super powers. Nano Tech don't chya know!
3.a-That radioactive spider? Cube born techno organic! Perhaps it was born in Sector 7?
3.b-Batman's tools? Minibots! His car? Autobot. No Doubt about it. His Plane? Defected Decepticon. And Robin doesn't know the truth.
3.4-Weird non humans like Silver Surfer and Superman? They're Pretenders and are planting themselves as heroes/villans (ABots vs DCons).
Aaand some non comic related stuff:
4) (G1/ AU) - (Warning - ROTF Inspired) Some Transformers wake up early from the crash on earth and are living among humans to protect their friends who are still sleeping. As a result they have been adopting incredibly simple, human tech forms from covered wagons, saddles to the original Model T Ford. When the sleeping mechs finally awake they don't recognize their friends in their new alt forms just because the forms are so... archaic compared to the alt forms given them by Teletraan in the 1980's. Arguments and rude comments ensue about the alt modes everyone decides to keep.
This one is more adult themed:
5) Some TFS like collecting human culture like it ws a rare form of Pot. More than likely someone's got a fetish and dragged their comics/DVD/Music/musical collection back to Cybertron. On Earth no-bot suspects that the most popular cult Vid Flick back home is ... Joe's Apartment.
Snide remarks about humans and the Ark are passed around as a result.
5.b - An Autobot is fascinated by Reefer culture and has the best collection of Bongs anywhere XD! (...Not including the fifty three styles of paper made by some obscure European ciggy maker, the four hundred toke cases produced by said ciggy maker from 1900 to 2009 or the nuuumerous books on how to cultivate the plant.)
5.b.1 - A revolt happens where said Autobot is kidnapped and promised release once they give back most of their horded reefer paraphenalia. Supplies are getting low don't chya know.
5.b.2 - Said paraphenalia includes the best pot plants around. The 'Bot can't use it, but he likes the plants cuz they're so PERTY. (Anyone else see an innocent Hound moment here?)
5.b.3 - If you can find a horrible story bunny that mixes puns about pot and Joe's Apartment, feel free to add it here XD!
