G1 in the larger, general sense, not restricted to one comic or cartoon.
Everything that happened in G1, prior to 2006 (in character's time) may have happened. Actual background up to interpretation. Starscream's assassination, at his coronation, did happen. His unextinguishable spark is revealed as fact (he died and came back a lot in the various comics, too). Starscream did appear as a ghost in various times and places. Starscream was last known to have gotten a new body (probably from a partially resurected Unicron, as in US cartoon Season 3, though see next paragraph). Autobots probably rule Cybertron. Decepticons are still around as a rebel force against the Autobots (though a few may have defected to Autobots or gone their own way in other other parts of galaxy). Whether Optimus was ever resurrected or not is up to author/interpretation, and may or may not be relevant to story.
Starscream has not been seen by other Cybertronians since he got his last body in 2006. The actual body, briefly seen by others in 2006, was actually an upgrade, and is just a bit more bird-of-prey than original G1 form (could be alike to TFA Starscream (claws), but probably not quite as much as Bayformer Starscream (face just too alien)).
Now, in this story (bunny), Starscream crash landed on a planet, which he since re-named Vos. There was no sentient life, but a plethora of creatures analogous to avian and reptilian animals, including what are like dragons. There are plenty of natural resources to get metals and energy from, but no previous civilization.
Starscream is/was a little Castaway/Robinson Crusoe at first, but uses all his skills, knowledge, intelligence to survive and build some secure base of operations, with Cybertronian-like technology. Starscream does not like organics, but he's likely developed begrudging respect for the raptors and may have tamed some to do tasks, out of desperation, Starscream manages to develop a means to make more seekers. The result is likely analogous to the TFA Starscream clones, in that being alone, he's only able to create life using himself as a template. These seekers are all alike to Starscream, but (also as in TFA) show differing personalities and special abilities. He betrays his own nostalgia/lonliness/sparkache by naming them after other seekers he may have known. He has created a fair number (so plausibly names are borrowed from other continuities or recycled from other flying transformers): Thundercracker and Skywarp being first, then maybe Ramjet, Dirge and Thrust, others could include Sunstorm, Slipstream, Acidstorm, Drench*, Jetstorm, Runway, Sonar, jetfire, Darkwing, Dreadwind, Dreadwing, Overcast, etc.)
*Drench is the name of a Shattered Glass seeker, and is thus likely an evil Autobot car, but it sounds like a good Rainmaker name.
Stories or story parts could tell:
-Starscream's time alone, going a little mad.
-developments between Starscream and his various cloned Seekers (is Starscream observant enough to see the strengths and weaknesses the others possess and use weaknesses against them to remain leader? Are their sparks also unextinguishable?)
-What happens when other Cybertronians find this planet
-Starscream's decision to leave or not leave the planet in order to get his revenge. (Is it really better revenge to survive as a leader on his own planet, or to attack the Decepticons and have them know his power?)
-what happens if Starscream does leave the planet for vengeance?
-Are these Seekers capable of or interested in reproducing among themselves? And, do they have enough variation to do so and maintain any successful society? Would they want to welcome outside influence/visitors?
