This batch of bunnies have bouncing around for awhile, demanding to be written. Demanding little things, aren't they?

1. [g1] Starscream crashed in the ice, not Skyfire. Now Starscream has to navigate the confused territory between Decepticon logic, Autobot ideals, and his own scientific ethics.
2. Prejudice can arise from misinformation and ignorance, instead of hate. When even the government calls something wrong, how can outsider to the culture, to the planet, ever hope to realize the truth of the matter?
3. [2007] The survivors of Mission City are struggling to rebuild the lives shattered by a 'war game gone awry'. They aren't doing so well. {they dream of a steel planet. They dream of war and the endless exile of space. They dream of dying.}
4. [g1] animorphs crossover, Jake/prime interaction. 2 years ago, Optimus spoke with a young teen with some hard questions about leadership and waging a war. Now, confronted with the 16 year old 'saviors of humanity', he wonders if could have changed anything if answered better. Alternately, Rodimus understands, perhaps better then anyone, the burdens of being a leader too young. (please?)
5. [2007]Sam can't wait to introduce his best friends to each other. (Mostly because Miles has the unique ability to confound absolutely everybody, and Sam's fairly sure that includes kick ass cameros who are actually giant alien robots from beyond the stars.)
6. When a new transformer is created, the spark is drawn from the nearest loose collection of them. This was never a problem until transformers were created on earth. They remember.
7. When a new arrival to earth befriends a severely disabled human, everyone is forced to deal with some uncomfortable cultural assumptions- Cybertronians and earthlings alike.
8. Thundercracker believes in the Decepticon cause- it's just sometimes, their methods worry him. The ends justify the means, don't they?
9. Humans aren't even sure if their souls exist, let alone studied them. So it's not exactly shocking that they don't realize they have spark twins.
10. Judy doesn't believe in God, but she prays anyway.

I would love to see this. I wonder if Skyfire would be a Decepticon or an Autobot.

Starscream has interested me since Skyfire was introduced. Suddenly, a traitorous, and bluntly, none to bright(at least when it came to treachery. Honestly, announcing your intentions?)character was /fascinating/. Somehow, Starscream had once been a scientist, and someone who an autobot had called friend. I've always wanted to see that Starscream, and the setup of the episode practically begged for a reversal.

I agree. I was always kinda sad that they didn't really go into their friendship dynamic before the war in the series. (And if they did, I totally missed it.) I find these two are the most interesting.

For 7. There aren't actually very many stories with human disability. It would make a change from good-looking teens. And interesting to see how an aline species deals with something that for theem would just involve a new leg.

Yeah, that's why I thought of it. I remember someone, (can't remember who) wrote a story called 'eyes that I might see' about a blind girl interacting with transformers. One of her lines was 'You know, being blind isn't my only trait. I have a personality and everything'. The story really struck me with one of the main differences between transformers and humans. Humans aren't exactly comfortable around disability either. There's a perverse part of me that enjoys finding these messy spots of our cultural landscape, and forcing people to confront them.
Plus, whoever the disabled character is, they'd be very interesting to write. Nothing like having to /justify/ your /existence/ to /giant aliens/ to put you on the defensive.
