*cries*  They won't leave me alone!  Only fifteen this time, but hey.  Rather oriented around Hound and MIrage this time - probably

[profile] dreamer_way's fault.  She put the muses in my head and now I can't get them to leave! D:

Ah well.  I'll survive.

1.  The Decepticon symbol is purple.  Purple symbolizes royalty.  Take that as you will.

2.  Red is the color of blood and passion.  Why would the Autobot’s choose it to represent themselves?

3.  Mirage finds himself advocating catch-and-release fishing.  (Hound’s ecstatic.)

4.  Hound is forced to choose between saving his commander and saving his lover.

5.  (Apparently I’m on a Mirage/Hound kick right now…) Hound and Mirage have a sparkling!

6.  AU/G1 Crossover!  The Autobots get sent to a world where Sentinal killed Megatron early on.  Many revelations occur.

a.       How do they respond to the realization that G1 Mirage isn’t actually all that stuck-up? (especially in comparison to AU Mirage?)

b.       In the AU, ‘Decepticons’ and ‘Autobots’ are friends (the war ended before most of them joined a side.)

c.       Optimus tries to deal with a Prime who is little more than a figurehead, when he’s used to the power that comes with being the leader of a civil-war army.

7.  Soundwave meets the Borg.  Emotionless contest insues.

8.  Human!AU.  Hound is a cat person.  Mirage is a dog person.  See the insanity unfold as they search for a pet they both like.

9.  The Twins are forced to spend a night in the slums of New York City and find the place bringing up memories of things they’d rather forget.

10.  Red Alert drafts some old friends to prove to Optimus that their security measures aren’t enough.  (I’m thinking the Wreckers myself, but if you have other ideas…)

11.  Skydive/Twins.  (‘Cause I feel the need for crack.  And you never hear anything about poor Skydive…)

12.  Instead of Hot Rod, Hot Spot got the Matrix of Leadership after Optimus Primes death.  Only... He's part of a gestalt.

13.  Ravage discovers the glory of popcorn.  And quickly becomes addicted.

14.  Huffer is bored.  Prowl snaps and tells him to find something useful to do with himself, then.  Huffer takes up knitting in response.

15.  Dark!Fic.  There used to be a practice on Ancient Cybertron where sparklings were used as slaves.  Sparklings were bred specifically for this purpose – often given as gifts.  The practice was banned vorns ago, but the upper echelon of all society’s tend to think themselves above the law.  Mirage is all too aware of that fact.

16.  It isn’t simply that Mirage dislikes the taste of the energon made on Earth.  It’s that, quite frankly, his systems weren’t built to handle it.  Drinking that energon is, for him, equivalent to most mechs using gasoline as fuel.  Not enough to kill him, but enough to cause some major pain and system failures.  Ratchet does what he can, but there’s not much to be done.

5. (Apparently I’m on a Mirage/Hound kick right now…) Hound and Mirage have a sparkling!

Awww! So cute! Let's see... he'd be green and blue with a white star... he'd like animals... name... name... What would his name be?

8. Human!AU. Hound is a cat person. Mirage is a dog person. See the insanity unfold as they search for a pet they both like.

Mirage: "You like cats?"
Hound: "What's wrong with cats?"
Mirage: "... Your name is Hound!"
Hound: "Yeah, so?"
Mirage: *is speechless*

Hmmmm... How about a Japanese Chin? It's a rather cat-like dog. The only other thing I can think of is Catdog.

10. Red Alert drafts some old friends to prove to Optimus that their security measures aren’t enough. (I’m thinking the Wreckers myself, but if you have other ideas…)

The Wreckers and Perceptor (because he's a Wrecker whether he admits it or not)! And the look on everyone's faces when they realize that Red Alert's not panicking over the intruders! And that he'd actually asked them to break in!

12. Instead of Hot Rod, Hot Spot got the Matrix of Leadership after Optimus Primes death. Only... He's part of a gestalt.

How would becoming Prime affect a member of a Gestalt? They have a mental connection with other members? And the physical changes... would they still be able to combine? And if they can't combine, how will that affect the Gestalt as a whole?

14. Huffer is bored. Prowl snaps and tells him to find something useful to do with himself, then. Huffer takes up knitting in response.

This would make a cute art bunny. Huffer knitting! Someone must write this! Or draw it!

So... was Mirage a victim of this practice? I suppose everyone was until they grew up.

A very good reason for him wanting to return to Cybertron. But if he can't handle energon not made on Cybertron, why was he on the Ark to begin with? Or did they not realize Earth-made energon would be of such low quality?

Peek-A-Boo! Or Hide-And-Seek! No, seriously though, I think Illusion would be a good one. Because, no matter what you say, Mirage really just uses a very specialized form of hologram. He creates a hologram that mimics his surroundings, Hound creates a hologram that adds something into the surroundings, so their sparkling would probably be able to do both.

I read a fic where Mirage had an adopted little brother named Illusion. It was never finished though.

Hmmm... I always thought he had something that bent the light around him, but a hologram makes sense.

I know this hasn't yet been made clear (I'm working on it!) in my fics, but I consider Perceptor, Red Alert, and Inferno as 'part-time-Wreckers'. As in, when they need some extra help, or one of their members is forced to stay behind, one of those three normally joins the Wreckers. Red Alert and Perceptor are more useful off the battlefield, which is why their only part-timers. Inferno used to be a full-time members, but then he met Red (through the wreckers, of course) and made the decision to stay with him. ...Right, I'm done now.

Part time, full time, it don't matter. I still love my Wrecker!Perceptor. And Wrecker!Red Alert. And it was so sweet of Inferno to stay with Red...

And is Hot Spot the only one that's technically 'Prime'? Or is it the entire gestalt, since on some level, they're one being (Defensor, in this case)? The questions, the possibilities... I really hope someone does this.

And what if Defensor was the one who received the Matrix? Would it let them break apart? If so, would Hot Spot be theone to get it? Or would it matter? If they couldn't split, what would happen to their individual minds/personalities?

Yes, he was. I don't think everyone is - just the 'extras'. Because the creators would only need one sparkling, most likely the first born, to carry on their family. I'm hoping that, should anyone pick this up, they'll really go all out on it. 'Cause the elites would see him as replaceable - not a person, just a possession.

That makes more sense than if everyone was. I wonder what everyone, Cliffjumper and Hound especially, would think when they learn Mirage was little more than a slave.

It's not just earth-made energon, it's most energon actually.

*didn't feel like copying the whole thing* Yes, it makes sense.

And they'd feeel even more guilty when they realize Mirage is practically starving and here they are getting drunk in front of him. Rubbing it in his face.

... I hope LJ lets me preview this time.

I want to nitpick at 1 and 2 a little, red is not the colour of Cybertronian blood, usually energon that's in a TF's circulatory system is blue, so a blood association wouldn't work. And purple, well purple is the "royal" colour because in Roman times purple dye was expensive and difficult too make, so only the rich could afford purple cloth.

I'm trying to think of what red might be best representative of for Cybertronians... things I can think of are iron ore (think rust - it's red), molten metal, low intensity fire... that's all I can think of, off the top of my head.

Purple? No fragging idea.

*giggle like mad* I am more than glad to take the blame for you giving to the musings.

3. Mirage finds himself advocating catch-and-release fishing. (Hound’s ecstatic.)

I would join Hound in cheering him on. Would be just so cute having Hound convining Mirage and than himself convining others to do the same.

4. Hound is forced to choose between saving his commander and saving his lover.

Oh no! How could Hound choose! ;_; The one he follows or the one he loves.

5. (Apparently I’m on a Mirage/Hound kick right now…) Hound and Mirage have a sparkling!

Only on word fits this...cute!!! ^_^

12. Instead of Hot Rod, Hot Spot got the Matrix of Leadership after Optimus Primes death. Only... He's part of a gestalt

Interesting really...Hot Spot would be a good Prime, but I bet since he is part of a gestalt, his team mates would be affected, like they woudl grow up a bit as well like Rodimus did. Would be nice for First Aid if that happen....

15. Dark!Fic. There used to be a practice on Ancient Cybertron where sparklings were used as slaves. Sparklings were bred specifically for this purpose – often given as gifts. Awwwww....that is just so sad for Mirage. Poor guy *hugs*
